I just saw the play because I missed it live. Pat Mahomes will always get that call, while that specific play generally doesn't get called at most any other game. The DB was behind the receiver, who still had every ability to catch the ball. If there's an iffy call at the end of a Chiefs game, it's always going to go KC's way. Unless until Travis Kelce retires.
