I was really hoping to see the basketball team wear it full time this year.

When they released the block football jerseys, my heart started to dream of KU sports without Trajan.

I've got a couple guesses as to why the Royals city connect jersey is navy.

1. They have that updated uniform set with new powder blue and royal blue jerseys. Maybe they were avoiding two powder blues and adding a color that isn't used yet.

2. A lot of times dark colors sell better. The Royals only have fairly bright shades of blue, so adding navy gives them a chance to sell gear with a darker color.

To me it would look odd for the Wild to wear a fauxback dating back to the 1920s-30s and then the Blues wear a jersey design that they actually wore in the late 1960's.   If one team is wearing a fauxback, both most likely will.

That makes sense, though I don't think this would be too much of a mismatch of the Blues did go with their 1967 whites.

The crests would be the part that clashes the most, but I feel like the blue note sorta has a vintage feel.

Has there been a Winter Classic with fauxback vs throwback looks?

I was so nervous when I read the headline. I am relieved to see the is a subtle update that I consider an upgrade.

I really like the original logo and I'm glad it's kept basically the same.

Thats kinda what I was thinking, but the Chiefs player wear their socks in so many different ways there is no way to tell what they are supposed to be doing.

It's been a ton of fun to participate in these events with everyone. I can't tell you how many times I said to my wife, "I can't wait to see what everybody else made." It was great to see all of the different approaches and styles, and great designs across the board.

That O-Bolt jersey looks like the byproduct of a Clockwork Orange-style rehabilitation in which the unwilling participant was forced to sit through countless hours of The Big Bang Theory, Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, and 1999 MLB Turn Ahead The Clock games, with the audio tracks for all three randomly juxtaposed.
