What is this no jersey number stuff? Have the pats done this in the past? Tebow will look good in 5...doubt if he beats out Pizzaface Mallett but should earn a roster spot if he's gained a bit of humility and is willing to play additional positions. If so, I can't think of a better place for him.

With regards to Lofton, all of his Astros cards have him in short-sleeves. I can't find and don't remember anything but long sleeves after he came to cleveland, growing up with those teams. Though he did do short sleeves for rock n jock softball. I assume that doesn't count. EDIT: also found a 1994 spring training shot with vizquel in the cleveland stadium-era home set. They switched for the regular season, but I didn't recall the team ever wearing non-bp tops during spring training.

Exactly. I have a hard time believing that an "authentic" is really worth the $300 price tag if it isn't even on the field. You can't tell me that a real player's jersey costs more. If so it would cost an astounding amount to dress a football team. Not $300, but gamers definitely cost more than authentics to produce. One big reason is that there's more overall material used, ever seen the length of football jerseys? I have a 42 (M) that runs almost to my knees. The differences in striping or how the numeral/nameplate is affixed is also of a higher quality in gamers. This doesn't even get into the new designs of Pro Combat or TechFit where the on-field jerseys have 'advanced' material. I know most of that is marketing BS, but not all.

I'm probably wrong, but isn't that his stint with Cleveland? Well that is what I get for trusting captions on pictures. Havent' we all done that once or twice? To be fair, Murray only wore that Cleveland uniform for about a month in in Spring Training '94 before they unveiled their script jerseys in April.
