  1. HOUSTON BULLS
    Founded 1968
    Based In Houston, Texas
    Home Field NRG Stadium
    Head Coach Jim Callahan
    Offensive Coordinator Bill Alexander
    Defensive Coordinator Jerry Reed
    General Manager Bobby Richards
Owner(s) The Richards Family Trust (managing partner Tina Dernard)
    Colors Black & Gold
    MLF Championships 1

Overview: Jim Callahan & his coordinators have been together the longest. QB Drew Pawlus has really shined the last five years & turned them into a contender every year winning the championship in the 2014 season. On offense RB Domanick Gordon has been a very consistent runner rushing for at least a thousand yards in 6 of his 8 seasons this may be his last year with the team as he is in the last year of his contract. WR has never been a strong position for this team despite Pawlus putting up good numbers but Aaron Richardson has been solid & the addition of former LA Star Nate Harrison should prove even better.  The offensive line is one of the best in the league with C Trey Benton, G's Ben Fowler & Corliss Evans, & T's Tony Starks & Lovell Holbrook. The defense is solid with DE Allen Peterson, DT Mana Kalu, LB Demario Bowman, S Lemuel Laxton & CB Ricardo Stallings. First round draft pick LB Luke Vandeburg will solidify the middle.

    Founded 1924
    Based In Detroit, Michigan
    Home Field Ford Field
    Head Coach Brad McDaniels
    Offensive Coordinator Mike Palmer
    Defensive Coordinator George Clemons
    General Manager Mark Lynch
    Owner(s) Mike Dolan
    Colors Blue, Red, & Silver
    MLF Championships 1

Overview: Brad McDaniels is a John Arnett disciple & suffered through a 1-15 season knowing that he would have a chance to draft a really special talent at QB. Ever since QB Marcus King went to Portland Detroit has went through starting QB's. The decision to draft Brett Barnett was not a lock but certainly one that was expected by many. The draft was really good for them as they had five draft picks in the first 64. Barnett, DE Marcus Armstrong, RB Andre Doucette, CB Jaire Kelly, T Mike Mazano, & TE Dave Gebeki all appear to be starters for them now or in the near future. The defense also picked up a majore free agent in 27 year old LB Mario Rogers from Atlanta.

  3. DENVER RIDERS
    Founded 1953
    Based In Denver, Colorado
    Home Field Sports Authority Field
    Head Coach John Arnett
    Offensive Coordinator Gary Bicknell
    Defensive Coordinator Johnny Dunbar
    General Manager Jeff Colbert
    Owner(s) Glen Holt
    Colors Black & Copper
    MLF Championships 4

Overview: The Riders continue to be that team that wins but just cannot get over the hump. In the first round last year they put up 35 points on one of the best defenses in Buffalo but lost because they gave up 38. Glen Holt has full confidence in John Arnett but the fan base has grew tired and they really want a new QB. QB Vince Morano at 38 is still very productive but still the losses have been mounting up. Age is a real factor with this team as RB Calvin Gray, WR Warren Houston, T Todd Meadows, G Morris Davis, C Ben Cavillo, defensive lineman Cedric Grant, Richard Ellis, & Matt Ma'afala, along with CB's Ronnie Dudley & Kerry Williams are at least 30.  To make matters worse they only had four draft picks this year. The only change to the Denver is they have went with a more brighter copper now.

    Offensive Coordinator Tom Verucci
    Defensive Coordinator Ray Brennan
    General Manager Ron Pawlawski
    Owner(s) John Livingston III
    Colors Blue, Red, & Silver
    MLF Championships 6

Overview: Dallas has been one of the most successful franchises in the MLF the past 20 years. Winning four championships the last coming in the 2015 season when Trent Johnson finished his career with a championship after coming over from Indianapolis in free agency along with head coach Brian Turner from St. Louis. The past season was their worst going 7-9 after current QB Rhett Harper missed half of the season. Offense has been just OK the last few years under Harper with the lack of any big play threats since RB Jermaine Johnson is more of a pounder & leading WR Chris Conley being just a possession receiver. T Ervin Alston is still the best in the game at his position. The defense has still been good under former Chicago head coach Ray Brennan. They added LB/DE Keith Jefferson in free agency from St. Louis along with first round pick S Tre Moore to go along with DE Ezra Ebe, DT DeMarr Ford, LB's Chris Strickland & Trevor Newman, & CB Malik Taylor.

    Defensive Coordinator Herman Martinez
    General Manager Tom Ireland
    Owner(s) Amy Ballmer
    Colors Maroon, Black, & White
    MLF Championships 13

Overview: Head coach Gary Hargraves has been very successful but has zero championships after losing in the 2014 MLF Championship game to Houston. This team still has some of its core pieces with QB Koy McCord, RB Michael Griffin, & WR Koren Hill on offense. They also picked up veteran OT Richmond Slavey via free agency. The defense has some nice pieces with DT Darius Gunn, LB Cody Morgan, & CB Kenny Oliver but he is 35 now so draft pick Taron Ward from LSU might be his replacement soon.

    MLF Championships none

Overview: Former Boston Admirals Coach Sherman Gray is rebuilding once again after building Boston to a playoff team but getting fired because he could not win in the playoffs. QB Chase Riley is looking to be a steal in the fourth round a few years ago. Draft day this year has brought a few starters with number one draft pick CB Anthony Alexander, 2nd round RB Leonard Mack, & third round LB Dorian Jefferson. 2nd year TE A.J. Ingram is looking like a star as well.

I love Carolina! One thing though: you forgot the logo sheet! However, so far everything has been fantastic! Carolina is my favorite, and Buffalo is probably my least favorite. I just don't like how the red and gray go together.

Sorry it is fixed now. I appreciate the kind words. Buffalo is not one of my favorites either maybe one day I will redesign it. Chicago was my least favorite before because of the uniform now I really like their identity overall with new design.

    MLF Championships 5

Overview: GM Reggie Clark & Rob Rodriquez have brought a lot of change to this organization since coming on board before the start of the 2017 season. The first step was drafting the QB Matthew Harrell with the number one pick last year. The second step was drafting S Terrel Reid with the 6th pick of this years draft to help solidify an improving defense with sack artist Jason Armstrong & S Damien Hixson. The backfield is loaded this year with RB's Derrick Dorsett, bruiser Shedrick Sharpe, & rookie speedster Khalil Mohammed from Georgia. The last change they made was to go to a more modern classic on their uniforms.

Overview: The reigning MLF Champions are set to have a good run again this year. They return the most versatile QB in Donovan Jackson who is the reigning MVP. RB Darius Giles has became a pretty good threat. WR Steve Bruce is a big target with great hands. The defense is anchored by the best DT in Shawn Duckett. The team seems to be hitting their stride since Vic Roman has took over two years ago.

  10. Thanks for the comments I like Baltimore as is & really have no desire to see any of those changes I really think that is a personal preference.... I used a reference for the Rhino but I made that logo 4-5 years ago now. I never really felt the horns were off looks pretty close to the picture below... I do not think it looks much like a dog... The B logo is probably not the best but I feel this would have been done in a hurry so I like it because thats what people would say in real life... I may explore looking at the B logo for sure.

    Defensive Coordinator Greg Flaherty
    General Manager Dave DeClerq
Owner(s) Buffalo Sports & Entertainment Group Inc (managing partner Jim McCaskin)
    Colors Red & Silver
    MLF Championships none

Overview: Buffalo lost in the MLF Championship game to end an amazing whirlwind year. The team was all set to move to Las Vegas and transfer of ownership had already begun to Robert Sheldon when he was indicted for Money Laundering after an FBI sting. The MLF had to change plans in hurry & since no ownership group came forward from Las Vegas the league turned unto Jim McCaskin the owner of the Major League Hockey franchise Buffalo Bisons who was in the running for buying the franchise initially. Buddy Zimmer the former head coach of Tampa Bay had been the head coach in 2016 and had started building pieces to change this franchises fortunes. QB Curt O'Hara was brought in from Tampa Bay & the defense led by DT Tank Adams & LB Keith Ponder was one of the best in the league. The team name was going to be changed but the city of Buffalo fell in love with this team so they look to be going forward with the name Rhinos.

Overview: Former Carolina coach Rick Kollar has been to the playoffs the last year & won a division title but some fans are still claiming he must go. RB Greg Payton has really flourished the last few years in Kollar's conservative system. Former Cincinnati QB Kyle Ryan has had some good years being a game manager. It will be interesting to see how much former St. Louis head coach & offensive coordinator Joe Ferraro changes the offense. CB Donald Knight leads a solid defense which should be better with the addition of first round draft pick S Durwin Harrison.

Colors Bomber Blue, Orange, & White
    MLF Championships 3

Overview: Rob Riley has found himself in a complete rebuilding job after two years. Former coach Vic Roman had a falling out with ownership after wanting more control. RB Warren Davis is one of the only remaining fixtures but at 34 is not someone to build your offense around. Baltimore selected with the 5th pick of the draft QB Jared Stanton to build the franchise around which many consider to be the best class ever for QB's. A record seven QB's where taken in the first round. To sure up a weak offensive line the team signed free agent T Jamaal Harris from Pittsburgh & let aging veteran T Richmond Slavey go via free agency. DT Albert Young still leads the defense and CB Chris Wallace still holds down the secondary. Look for Baltimore to be revamping their defense next year with Young & Wallace in their final year.

Overview: This team has a hard nosed coach in the former Dallas Marshals defensive coordinator but are still trying to find their way.  RB Rashaan Stewart is an elite runner & former Dallas QB Jake Miller is really solid but is 37 years old it may be time for 3rd year QB Dominic Reed to take the reigns. Defense suffered a big blow by losing LB Mario Rogers to Detroit via free agency. DE Tony Blalock still leads the defense with solid CB play by Lavar Greer.

  15. My fictional league I have had since I was kid was completed a few years ago for those that did not follow that thread. The old thread was locked so I decided to start a new one for some changes I made plus I put all the teams on a new template. The first couple will not have many changes but I have changed in some form the Rhinos, Barbarians, Riders, Racers, Mustangs, Blues, Marauders, Minnesota, Knights, Firebirds, Miners, Pioneers, Stallions, & Shockers. To start off here is the League & Conference Logos that are unchanged.

  16. I'm not quite sure how unpopular this is going to be, but the general consensus seems to be the Jacksonville Jaguars redesign went well with the exception of the two toned helmet. It is my opinion that, with the exception of the logo, the redesign was a complete downgrade of what they had before. I do not like anything about their new uniforms. Sometimes a look will grow on me over time (Tampa Bay and even Cleveland's new looks don't bother me as much as they did when I initially saw them) but that has never clicked with Jacksonville. I actually really liked the uniforms Reebok did for them before Nike got their hands on the NFL. The piping on the sides is weird, but I didn't hate it. In fact, their black alternates are one of my favorite looks!

    new-2013-jacksonville-jaguars-uniforms.j

How I miss that helmet not the unis though they are about as plain as you can get except the weird piping.... The Jags really look arena league now the new look would not be out of place in that league... They may actually win a game there too...

  17. Joe Namath - Rams / Johnny Unitas - Chargers

    These have already been posted.

Most of these have been posted 3-4 times, you just gotta let it go and move on..... :P

No we cant let it go before anyone posts you must read every bit of the 199 pages that is up right now! Is that to much to ask???? :D
Well, to be fair, Namath and Unitas were, like, the first two guys posted in the thread.

That was my point. Sure, I'll let it slide if guys from the middle pages were reposted. But guys from the first page? C'mon, man!

Well if I did go through the entire thread then I would have forgotten about them by the end anyways. I guess Tornado was right let it go and move on....

  18. I like the pants stripe on those uniforms. Only lasted a season or two though.

Patriots between 1990-2000 were like the Jaguars of the last few years with all the uniform changes. I think they had 5 different uniforms.

Does that mean like by 2020 the Jags will win like 3 of the 5 Super Bowls?

I meant they were like the Jaguars since they changed their uniforms every few years. Also, the 1990-2000 Patriots won 0 Super Bowls. It's the 2001-2012 that were 3/5. (and should be at least 4/5  )

I know but I was just saying if they were really like them then in the next five or six years they would win three championships like NE did after they settled on their unis.

I could not think of anything worse than Jax's uniforms as the Super Bowl Champion well maybe NE winning again but we all know Brady can't win the big game anymore.
