  1. A triangle balancing on a mountain peak. Nice.
  2. I was a considerable bit older than 4, and while I know they get mixed reviews, I loved them. I was, and never will be, thrilled about the use of teal (the 2nd most 90s "sellout" color after BFBS), but for me these were the first "Utah" jerseys. The team FINALLY had its own identity instead of continuing the New Orleans set (which I thought was boring at the time), and that really meant a lot to me as a young fan. I'd love to see the Jazz replace the word mark on these uniforms and the 90s logo with the classic music note word mark. That would encapsulate their entire history nicely.
  3. Which is disappointing. I think Utah looks great in green. It's a shame to lose those unis.
  4. The Bulls and Pacers both look great. I think Indy's would look better without the gray stripes, but these are the best they've looked in gold.
  5. This is how you start down the NBA 82 jerseys in 82 games path...
  6. Man, I dig those a lot. The lack of Buffalo Braves colors (orange/black/white AND light blue/black/white) in the NBA is a bad thing. The Clips need to take a bit of both, and make their City's from two (?) years ago their new identity (Although I do like their new gangsta font too. Who knew the red-uniformed stepchild of LA could go from being one one the most "irrelevant" teams in sports to one of the more potentially compelling in such a short time?).
  7. I also think the the Hornets black jerseys have been pretty lame thus far. However I do think a black uni with teal and purple pinstripes could be nifty.
  8. No kidding. From a Jazz fan's perspective, those are Rockets colors whether Houston's currently wearing them or not. (They should be, by the way.)
  9. Rockets colors? No thanks.
  10. Those are similar jerseys, but I don't think that's the '77 team photo. Where's Bill Walton?
  11. This one isn't totally wrong to me, but I know it is for many. Chelios is an interesting case: 7 seasons with Montreal, and 8+ with Chicago (65 games the year he was trades), and 9+ with Detroit (10 regular season games after the trade). Which of the latter two is the "right" one?
  12. Miami's main identity is solid, and has a good history, but, man, with DWade retiring now is the perfect time to switch to the Vice identity full time and start a new era with a look that's truly unique.
  13. Ah, the memories... I loved me some Book It personal pan pizza back in the day. Good times! I remember when the switched from the regular pins to the lenticular ones:
  14. The fact that the current logo is a nod to the Ohio state flag is pretty nifty, though. And, the cannon logo looks way better in the actual team colors than it's original alt scheme.
  15. Agreed. Still not the name of the city! Hahaha!
  16. Ah to be faaaii-uh, not sure, actually. (Although, I do watch plenty of NHL games and news, so I guess I hear "Vegas" more often. )
  17. Well aware of that. It was meant to be humorous. An interesting point, but abbreviations aren't more important than a city's actual name, IMO, and nobody seems to have any issues with NYR and NYI...
  18. Hopefully VGK rebrands as the Las Vegas Knights in about 10 years. Or, at least, as the Las Vegas Golden Knights. Until then, we can enjoy matchups between Vegas and other great NHL teams like the Angeles Kings, York Rangers & Islanders, Jersey Devils, Bay Lightning, and Erik Karlsson's Jose Sharks. Oh, and the Stanley Cup Champion Louis Blues!
  19. Glad I'm not the only one who thought that.
  20. The Rockets completely dropped the (black) ball on this one. A return to the pre-90s (i.e. classic, "correct") colors would have been a great move for the team and the league.
  21. Looking at ESPN's in-game graphics, gold is a good look with the Toronto identity.
  22. Here's my unpopular opinion: I like Toronto's current set better than anything previous, and I don't think they've ever had a "great" purple uniform. Their originals are (dated) classics, but I like them for what they were and should be used consistently as throwbacks. The purple with black backs were awful. Even though red/black/white is way overplayed in the NBA (and the NHL), the Raps have made it work. I especially like their red "North" unis, and I think they could drop black and make red/white really work (with minimal gray to avoid being the Rockets). That being said, it could be interesting to see a bit of purple added back into the current set as a accent color. For example, I think adding a purple stripe to the collar and arm hole striping on the black set (i.e. red, silver, purple, then black) would look pretty nifty.
  23. Not being nasty, but the Blackhawks logo is full of the "wrong" colors in relation to the rest of the set (and even as a Wings fan, I love the Hawks' logo and uniforms -- easily top 3 in the league). The orca really just needs some green added to make it "match." Orcas are actually black so in the logo it should stay dark, not some "team colors" (like the Manitoba Moose and other AHL teams that water down their logos to match the parent club).
  24. Here some more Grind Line love for you:
