    These remind me of the Jacksonville Jaguars. So much to work with, but they go with glorified practice uniforms. This is not a good thing.

    Wait, I’m curious about the white Bengals helmet. Based on the current rules, wouldn’t they have to be paired with an alternate, Color Rush or throwback uniform? I’m hoping against hope that means the 2021 all-white is being reclassified as a Color Rush and a new road uniform with more orange will be unveiled. Probably wishful thinking.

    The only thing holding back the Texans’ identity is the Texans’ play on the field. The logo is excellent, they have strong colors and the proprietary font works. The uniform could use a tweak, but they still look good. The red helmet, in my opinion, is a step forward. Going to an Oilers look would be a step backward.

    This might be my least-favorite recurring idea on the board. The Houston Oilers are dead. The Houston Texans have their own identity. Deal with it.

    I, uh, liked the 2021-22 white jersey better. And if the dark jersey had been navy, that would’ve been their best-ever set. The orange cuffs on the classic blue jersey has always annoyed me.

    Primary color: Finals-era purple Secondary color: Flag blue Tertiary color: Flag yellow Do that, and they’d have a unique color scheme that’s tied to their history and city. Instead, we got black and highlighter yellow.

    The yellow stripes on the white jersey are a swing and a miss. Same goes for the pants.

    This would’ve been so goddamn easy for them to do. The template is traditional but the numbers, sublimated pattern and wordmark are just the right amount of Nike razzmatazz to be #fire. Really well done. One request: could you give the burgundy socks the same striping pattern as the burgundy jerseys and pants?

    Hot take: The Ducks’ Cup-winning sweaters but with the webbed D instead of the lame wordmark would’ve been excellent. The curve of the jersey stripes matched the curve of the D and they would’ve played very well off each other.

    The Leeds concept is very interesting, though I do wonder how it would look with their traditional colors.

    Interesting that the R logo is on the right sleeve. Is there a reason for that?
