Astros wearing their navy alts at home in the playoffs for the very first time today. They had previously only worn their regular whites or the orange alts in the playoffs. Also, the Astros for the first time ever in the current unis wore their navy alts on the road three times towards the end of the season. They had never worn them on the road prior to this season.

I like that combo. Maybe also throw in just a little powder blue trim somewhere in there too?

Does anyone on here have the Brewers' city jersey or has anybody seen it in-person? Just curious how their powder blue color compares to other team's that currently have powder blue jerseys.

Don't forget the Dodgers tweaked their set slightly for 2022, including the awful cap from 2021. Not that it would change your rankings, but it's now basically the regular white 'LA' logo home and road cap but with a black bill and squatchee button. And they also wear black undershirts with it now instead of blue, which makes it seem a little less like an NFL color rush uniform to me. The cap change and switching to black undershirts made their city uniform a little bit better IMO. Other subtle changes to the 2021 city unis for '22 were the Diamondbacks adding new cream pants and the Marlins wearing the blue belts and blue or white cleats with their city in '22 like they were originally shown off with when they were revealed; instead of black belts and blue or black cleats like they wore with it last season.

Just saw this. Kind of a shame, as I like the actual bubbles on top of the yellow sleeve piping. They said the piping on top was supposed to look like the foam from the head of a pint of beer. But then it's just white. I wonder what happened that made them decide to go with solid white as opposed to the white bubbles? Still like them, but this prototype actually has bubbles (or foam)!

Honestly, the Angels really should have tied in with Disney for their cities, as Disneyland is the reason why Anaheim even became a big city back in the 1950s. I honestly had no idea T&C was even still around well into the 1990s lol I remember it from the early-late 1980s and had a ton of clothes then. The old NES game, Wood & Water Rage, was one of my favorite NES games to play from like 1987-1990. Same thing goes for Local Motion, Jimmy Z and Maui & Sons, had tons of shirts and shorts and tanks from them back in the day. Used to love the velcro belt Jimmy Z shorts and pants!

They actually did for one game back in August 2018 against the Indians (now Guardians)...

I preferred the Rangers blue alt to have that little powder blue stripe on the sleeve with the white and red. It gave it a little contrast and made it more unique. It looks more bland and boring with just the white and red now. JMO

The Orioles did wear an all orange alt uni in '71 an '72. Maybe that's what you were thinking of?

Yep. They also wore them on the road last year as well for 1 game against the Giants in early September. Maybe they plan on wearing them against division rivals only on the road...?

Yup, and they also wear the alternate jersey every season since on that day in memory of the tragedy.

Noticed the Dodgers wore black shirts with their '22 version of their city connect unis on this past Saturday (they wore blue last year). I really think they need to wear a white or black belt with this uni though, there is just too much blue and it needs some contrast in it. But at least it still looks a bit better than last year's version of the uni. Also, they're FINALLY wearing the 'Dodgers' road jersey tonight at Comiskey (yes, I still call it Comiskey).

The lighting in that pic makes its sort of hard to decipher, but the cap panels look to be cream as well. So after this latest city reveal, I think I would personally rank them all in this order (my score in parenthesis): Royals (10) White Sox (9) Marlins (9) Cubs (8) Astros (8) Nationals (8) Diamondbacks (7) Angels (7) Rockies (7) Dodgers (6) Giants (5) Red Sox (2) So far for me, the Red Sox are the only city uni that I think are actually bad and were a total swing-and-a-miss.

Pirates finally wore their black home alts yesterday.

Ahhh, you're right!! I totally forgot they did a couple weeks back against the Red Sox. So basically just the Pirates' black home alt. the Cubs' city uni and potentially the Dodgers road 'Dodgers' jerseys are the only alt jerseys left that are still MIA in '22.

At first I really thought it was due to the supply chain issue. Speaking of which, I think the Pirates still haven't worn their black home alt yet, the Cubbies still have yet to wear their city unis and the Rangers have yet to wear their red alt, either. But then I started thinking the Dodgers only wearing the 'Los Angeles' road jerseys this year in order to rep LA since the ASG is played here this year. Could just be coincidence though and maybe they did retire the 'Dodgers' grey jersey for '22. I liked the 'Dodgers' one since it reminded me of their look from the '70s to '90s, but I know how some people really disliked that they had made the original intended 'Dodgers' road alt as their primary road once it was introduced and made the primary 'Los Angeles' the road alt.

Looks like the Dodgers may have changed their City uni caps for '22. The upcoming Urias bobblehead for next week has a black bill and squatchee and just a white 'LA'. Here's last year's version for comparisons' sake...

LOL Ahhh! Okay. I thought the trucker cap was the actual Angels cap Hahaha. Thanks for clarifying. It made sense though since the rumors point to their sets being about surf culture.

That Angels city uni cap logo sort of resembles and reminds me of Quicksilver's logo, minus the snow-capped mountain underneath the incoming wave.
