  1. Notre Dame adding white NOBs to their green jerseys for this weekend’s game against Cal. If they’re gonna stick with the navy numbers, they should have made the NOBs gold - that white sticks out like a sore thumb.
  2. Athletic Gothic is close, but some of the letters are a little different. (Such as the 3.) It almost looks like the 1980s Padres number font, but a little taller.
  3. I swear I've seen the number font on the Angels City Connect unis before...I'm sure somebody can help identify it!
  4. I don’t think the on-field cap is likely to have the side patch or under visor design. If you look up the other City Connect ‘47 Captain hats, they all have an alternate logo side patch (other than the Astros, whose on field cap has a site patch) and an under visor design based on the jersey. https://www.47brand.com/search?q=CITY CONNECT '47 CAPTAIN
  5. Anybody know the Rams new NOB font?
  6. Notre Dame with lotsa patches this year. “Rally” seems to be the team mantra for the season, but I’m not sure what it’s doing on the jersey...
  7. Those Jacksonville uniforms are wonderfully 90s, and I think it works for an expansion team from that era (See Miami, Tampa, Arizona). I agree with the others that the logo doesn't quite work though. The detailed, illustrated style with that font looks more 70s than 90s. I'd take a look at a lot of logos from 90s expansion teams across all sports to get an idea of the distinct style from that era. I think your updated Seattle logo is a HUGE upgrade, and I like the look of the drop shadows and lime green. I loved the simple green and white as well though, so you could really go either way.
  8. Love those scripts and cap logo, as well as the simple green and white color scheme (other than the Seattle-required florescent green alt).
  9. My favorite option for the roundel is A2, but any of the A options would be a big improvement!
  10. Denver looks really nice. The Angels font works great here, and I think the yellow-heavy look is a success, as the navy cap, undershirt, and socks help balance things out. I agree with NDFreek on the roundel - maybe try navy with yellow text instead of the white with navy text.
  11. Great series so far! New York is a strong, classic baseball look that fits the city. I especially like your unique take on an interlocking NY. Indianapolis looks great, and as an Indy resident I’d proudly rep the team. I love the name - great job finding a unique Indianapolis inspiration (i.e. not racing). I also like how the Unions script looks like it’s been around forever (and it has according to the throwback), meaning it’s not super clean like many modern scripts but also doesn’t look sloppy and unprofessional. The references to the city flag are great too. And as far as the overall look, I like the combo of Dodgers-inspired home and Cubs-inspired road - funny how they go together perfectly. Looking forward to the rest of this series!
  12. Came here to say the same thing. I'll second the un-doing of these (if at all possible).
  13. Not a huge fan of the color scheme or uniforms for Broncos, but that alternate logo is excellent. Great way to bring back the D without the awkwardness of a horse being worked in. Change the mane back to orange and it's a winner.
  14. PSU: Looks like Penn State. Not much else to say! Rutgers: I feel like you could've gone more modern with the striping since you kept the number font. Maybe some tapering? Also not sure about the grey pants. Maryland: Love it. Only suggestion would be to use their current M logo on the helmet. It looks like you have it on the collar. Nebraska: I'd stick with block numbers, since both their N logos are block lettering. Wisconsin: I would've loved to see you change things up here. Maybe 4 vertical stripes on the sleeves to reference Bucky's sweater? Also I'd consider using Aachen for the numbers - Conrad made the Wisconsin-specific version and it has some lighter, more condensed weights.
  15. Nice start here OSV! OSU: I'm personally a fan of the modernized sleeve stripes and non-black TV numbers, but I can't really argue with the throwback look. IU: The script on the helmet looks really nice, though it could be shrunk down just a tad. MSU: I like the subtle Greek pattern that was added this year, but your simpler look works fine. UofM: Solid look, especially the old school number font. The sleeves are getting a little crowded, so you may want to move the TV numbers to the shoulders, like the Chiefs did.
  16. Ooh, I like that take on the striping. Never seen someone use stripes like the ones on the aqua elements and it works really well. I really like the number font too, though I would use a flat serif on the top of the 1 (like USC, Redskins throwbacks) to match the 5 and 3. And the helmet on the new dolphin doesn't look too shabby!
  17. Yes, except I would use black trim on the white jersey. That way the stripe is just the reverse color of the helmet stripe. The trim ties everything together real nicely, though.
  18. I like the striping a lot. Keeps the general idea of their current look but ties everything into the helmet better. My one suggestion would be to add silver trim to the striping on the black jersey/pants and black trim to the white jersey striping. That way it's more consistent with the helmet and silver pants.
  19. On a second look, I thin you might be right, although the jersey backs look a little plain. Should I try to incorporate the stripe to the back somehow? I think the backs are fine. The front of the jersey is much more important, IMO.
  20. Definitely no yoke. The red pants will help balance the white-heavy jersey and helmet.
  21. I like the idea a lot, especially for a team like the Cardinals that hasn't traditionally worn sleeve stripes. I'd lose the yoke on the road jerseys though. It doesn't really work with the striping.
