  1. Yeah, the first team I think of is the Red Sox. Speaking of Curt Schilling and the Astros: Worst trade ever?
  2. Well, take a look at the right picture. Then take a look at the gap where the bronco's mane is. Then look at the dot right in the middle of the bronco. That's the eye. I think you see it now, lol. I've never seen anything more scary in my life. The way the arms look wrenched out of place and everything. Here come the nightmares. Yeah, I don't really see it... But on that topic, I used to hate the old Lions logo for a similar reason. The issue for me was that the bottom jaw and the upper leg of the lion connected, so that space created looked like an eye, and the legs seemed like a weird mouth. I think I was 15 before I realized that it wasn't just some really deformed lion. Haha, same for me. The 2009 update fixed the problem. On the topic of the Broncos logo, maybe this will help you see it:

  4. I've always thought that the 80's/90's Denver Broncos logo was messed up. On the left is what everybody supposedly saw. On the right is what I saw. It looks like the upper lip is on fire. It might also look like a mustache. Then the dislocated shoulders make it look even more screwed up. Maybe it's just me, but I've always hated that logo. That's why I consider the 1997 update to be one of the best updates in NFL history.
  5. Count me in. I love the shiny gold pants and the black drop shadow. Very sharp. I wouldn't mind the look they have today if the gold pants didn't look so dull.
  6. Huge unpopular opinion here I bet. I really like the Rockies purple pinsriped road unis and I am disappointed to hear that they're changing them this year. For one, there's more of a sense of uniformity throughout the set currently. Second, they just look great on a road grey. I don't know, maybe it's just because I rarely see them being played(only one pitcher on their team actually like them). All they have to do is fix that wordmark. I mean seriously? Silver and black lettering? Are they trying to be the White Sox? I really would suggest a monotone look. In other words, black on purple and purple on black. They could be one of few teams to pull off a look like that.
  7. "piratesfan16's MLB Series(Golden Edition)" coming soon...I've learned a lot so far. I will do all 30 teams. The way that I take C&C will be much more organized.

  9. While I didn't like it on the islanders, I did like the pattern nonetheless, and I thought it's similarity to the penguins' 80s/early-90s jerseys would've made them a good choice for the penguins rather than their current boring-as-hell design. It would've been a nice modernization of a look that a lot of fans are nostalgic for around here. That said, I know it's an unpopular opinion around Pittsburgh at least, but I've always liked these: And for some reason, recently, I've really started to miss the robo-pigeon logo. What are you talking about? That logo belongs on the side of an airplane or on a bank. It belongs in the past where it is now.....what about my avatar and signatu...oh. Another unpopular opinion of mine is the mix and match look of the late 70s Pirates. Sure some of them were ugly like this: But these were colorful and bold. I'm just waiting for the Pirates to get a gold alternate for home games. If they still had the vests, a mustard gold jersey with black udnershirts would rock my socks!
  10. Especially Talbot because the team he shushed in the playoffs as a Penguin was...(drum roll) the Flyers.
  11. Little late to the party but here's mine. Sorry if it has been said before. For the Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL, I cannot understand how Mario Lemieux and a majority of fanbase seem to just shy away from the "Robo-pen" logo and their unis. Sure they shouldn't have changed them right after a back-to-back Stanley Cup run, that's stupid. However, the logos and uniforms themselves are the most creative and appealing in team history IMO. First of all, the 1993-2001 Penguin logo actually looks like a Penguin. Their current Penguin is horrible. The head is too boxy. The eye looks like an 'h'. The beak is so bad I don't even know how to describe it. Vegas gold is just...its just that. Vegas. Not something to associate with Pittsburgh. Besides, a penguin's actual colors have a distinctive shade almost that of 'golden poppy'. Their current look is so dull and boring with the lack of contrast between it and white. I wish that the Penguins would seriously consider going back to black and athletic gold and unite the city with all of the major sports have the same color. Merchandise is not a problem. I've seen many fans at CONSOL sporting the 90's look. It was the sharpest IMO. Those who might say Bruins, I will say this: Maple Leafs/Lightning. Islanders/Oilers. Canadiens/Rangers. Who is complaining about them? Maybe a few. Could you imagine how many would complain about Penguins/Bruins if the Penguins changed their color scheme?
  12. Hello Bmac,

I am a big fan of your work. I have made a Baltimore Orioles concept that I'd like to share with the forum. I am requesting permission to use your uniform template. You don't have to send me your templates at all. I copied and pasted them to MS Paint and went from there. I am just requesting permission to use them as templates for my uniform designs. Honestly, the...
