  1. Imagine trying to get to a 7pm puck drop in 6pm 401 traffic.
  2. All pretty solid. I too am going to miss the logo. Gorgeous. I really do hope they get their :censored: together and get a team in the (distant) future.
  3. Man, I'm kind of on board with Scorpions.
  4. As much as I'd love a bigfoot themed name (Sasquatch, Yeti, etc), it's not for the big leagues.
  5. Would Saints work in this day and age?
  6. I'm anxiously/nervously awaiting the Lions reveal.
  7. Salt Lake (even Salt Lake City) is a much better way to go than Utah. Much harder to attach nicknames to 'Utah' IMO. And Salt Lake sounds much more 'hockey-y' if that makes sense.
  8. I think it's more so a matter of wanting to start fresh in Utah, without the stigma of a 'failed franchise' coming with it.
  9. Agreed. I mean paying tribute is fine for a few seasons, but the guy died 10 years ago.
  10. Brown is super under utilized in pro sports.
  11. Agreed. And I solemnly believe that Phoenix will get a team waaaaay down the road and adopt the Coyotes name. And when I say down the road I'm talking like 20 years.
  12. I figured as much, but 'Salt Lake' has such a hockey feel.
  13. I always liked the Bobcats moniker that Charlotte used (I just like Hornets better). That could work in Utah.
  14. The Delta Center looks atrocious for hockey, but at least it'll be temporary.
  15. I loved the identity of the short-lived Denver Cutthroats.
  16. I mean although Utah doesn't scream 'Southwestern U.S.', the vast majority of it is a desert. It could work. Keep the logo and just tone down the striping patterns.
  17. I love the Coyotes identity. I really hope they leave it in Arizona with the chance of an expansion team down the road if anyone ever gets their :censored: together.
  18. Salt Lake Stallions rolls off the tongue nicely. I know they were in that stupid AAF experiment.
  19. So at this point, let's say the Vegas deal implodes after the A's make the move to Sactown....would they likely then stay in Sacramento?
  20. In a nutshell, what's the story with the failed/half completed ballpark next to ARCO?
