I don't watch many (well, any) Falcons games.  Do they ever open the roof during games, and even if so, does it really let a meaningful amount of light in?  Can't support a dark uniform for domed teams that don't have some kind system for letting real light in.

Yes. They're better about it than the Cowboys. Dallas didn't open the roof at all in 2023, and only once in 2022.

About 5 teams have a semi-dome and open-air stadium. I believe the Titans will become one when they move to their new stadium. That would be a good time for them to bring on a new uniform.

Packers Eagles in Brazil should finally have the Eagles in midnight green vs. Green Bay. Hasn't happened since the Reebok era in the 2010 playoffs when Vick was QB.

I thought Cleveland was the opponent for the Eagles game in Brazil. Glad that's not the case. The Browns uniform will look good at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Reebok version of the midnight green looks better. The Nike one is stale.

A few years ago, I too wondered what this would look like, so I threw together a quick mock-up.  I felt the same as you though, the powder socks really take away from powder pants:

I wish the Chargers wear white at home again. The white uniform looks good with the team's field at the home stadium. Especially the midfield logo.

Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 23-20 in over time during an NFL game.

It's crazy that the Eagles have been using that look for almost 30 years now.

It did get modified in 2003 when the Eagles moved into Lincoln Financial Field.

While a new logo would be nice, I still have gripes with the current uniforms. They look like generic Dolphins uniforms if a film crew couldn’t get the licensing.

There are some positives here. I love the updated colors. I also love how they dropped the dark blue several years ago. However, I think that while aqua should be the main color (besides white), the current uniforms have too much aqua.

Look back at any Dolphins uniform, up until the 2013 rebrand. They all featured a prominent orange stripe down the middle of the helmet. Not only that, but they all featured a stripe pattern with white breaking up the colors. It just doesn’t feel right to see such a thick aqua stripe with only a little bit of orange. Dropping the navy years ago definitely fixed that a bit, but it still feels like the off brand Dolphins.

Is 34 Ricky Williams? That's my favorite aqua jersey of the Dolphins.

The top pic is probably the best we can hope for. It’s pretty good too, aside from the one stupid white helmet.

They could do an all orange too if they wanted to.

Denver used to have orange pants worn with the white jerseys back in the day. It will be great to see its return.

Don't they usually try to avoid taking home games away from teams that always sell out?  Especially in a season where NFC already has one fewer home game?

The NFL changed it so that all teams will play an international game. I'm for it because it keeps from exhausting some teams from having all those games while others didn't. This way it's more even and fair.

Since 2021, the league made the conference who has 9 home games be the one who host the international game.

Looks like we're headed for this.

The Chiefs have won the two road games on their way to the Super Bowl. Along with the Super Bowl win from last year. If KC goes with the white jerseys, then we'll get to see the uniform matchup we didn't get to see because in 2019 the Lions wore their throwbacks.

I don't know if Reid is in to the superstition. But he may stick with the red jerseys. And it would make them feel at home on a divisional rivals home field/stadium.

The 49ers actually petitioned the league to allow them to wear all-white in Super Bowl LIV, but the NFL essentially told them to :censored: off.

They approved the Rams making the same request with their "modern throwbacks" two years later in Super Bowl LVI.

For aesthetic reasons, this worked out wonderfully, but I do have to wonder if that was it, or if there was any other thought process for the NFL denying the 49ers' request but approving the Rams' request (In addition, the 49ers had only used two alternate slots in 2019, while the Rams had already worn those white uniforms three times in 2021).

And the  league denied the Saints of wearing their all white CR for the playoff game against the Vikings. Which then got New Orleans to wear the regular all white instead.

The league is inconsistent about the rules for alternates and throwbacks that were put in place since 2018.

This is a stunner. Haven’t worn those since the Week 3 loss to Indy. You gotta wonder, if they win do they keep wearing this combo all the way to the Super Bowl?

Considering the Ravens lost the last two home playoff games, wearing purple tops and white pants, against the Titans and Chargers, I'd say they're following the routine that they were successful in during the John Harbaugh era. Along with the Texans game in the 2011 playoffs, they also beat the Colts in the 2012 playoffs wearing the purple jersey and black pants combo, and then going on to the Super Bowl that year.

Ravens, Chiefs, and Bills all have good home uniforms. 49ers, Packers, and Bucs all have good road uniforms. If the Super Bowl is between any of those teams, it should look good. Please keep the Lions and their all-white pajamas away from that game.

The Ravens have never worn their regular purple over white against the Packers. We've also never gotten their purple over white against the Bucs in white over pewter, and the last time the Ravens wore purple over white against San Francisco, they also wore white socks, and the 49ers were in their old set. That was back in 2003. So, if the Ravens make the Super Bowl and wear their home uniform, we're guaranteed a first uniform matchup.

Not even in the preseason. Baltimore has worn white at home both times the Packers visited the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium during the preseason.
