    Remember the 2007 game?

That was my favorite uniform matchup in the series. I liked the 2011 game too. There were other games, like the two Super Bowls they met in and other older games during the regular season, but those were  before my time.

Next year the Seahawks should definitely use one of their throwback games against their AFC West opponent (looking like either the Broncos or Chargers) so that would leave 1 more game which I would prefer to be either the 49ers, Packers, or Dolphins.

They lost one game to 49ers and got swept by the Rams. Arizona is going to be last place in NFC West. Seattle will either be the second or third place team depending on what happens. Broncos have a chance at catching KC if they keep up their good play.  Chargers are last place currently, but that could change. Raiders are the ones I expect to be in last place. The Seahawks can draw any of the 4 AFC West teams, but KC is a slight chance.

I prefer Seattle to wear the throwbacks against Buffalo over Miami. I'll agree about 49ers and Packers.

I love every single one of the Chargers uniforms. Pure nirvana across the board.

If I absolutely had to pick the weakest one, it would be white-on-white.

Nah the navy is the weakest of the combos. And they keep losing in them, they're 0-5 in them now.  LAC keeps picking the wrong teams to wear them against. I can take a guess that next year they'll wear them against New Orleans or Cincinnati.

  4. I wish Buffalo wore blue pants with the white jerseys, then it would have made the game with the Eagles kelly green throwbacks excellent.

Baltimore should've worn all white for the game with the Chargers going all navy. I notice the Ravens only do it once a year.  Why did they have to waste it on Arizona? As for LAC, the one time the Chargers wore all navy against a team that didn't have a similar color or close to it was against the Bills in 2020. The Lions game would've been good for the all navy.

The two times when TB and IND played each other has been one of them in a throwback or alternate. We've been robbed of a good uniform matchup both times.

But if you're worried about the traditional Thanksgiving vibe, the evening game should feature teams in throwback uniforms. This year, the 49ers understood the assignment. The Seahawks very much did not.

San Francisco wears the white throwback/color rush (whatever you want to call it) at Seattle regardless of situation. It has locked on to their games at Lumen Field. It's the same thing the Seahawks liked to do when Seattle visited the Cardinals in Arizona.

You can see Kenneth Murray (9) in blue socks on that picture in the Jaguars game.  Hopefully not every player is in on the white socks.

I like those all green alternate by the Packers. But yes it sucks that we were denied of a great uniform matchup. I'd be happy if the schedule makers make LAC at GB for a preseason game at least.

No, they were doing it from the introduction of the set. This pic is from 2012.

I messed up. I forgot to say "at home" along with asking about them wearing the grey pants. Hence I mentioned about the 2021 season with the last season of Russell Wilson being with the Seahawks.

They started wearing it at home that year in 2021, and have been using it for 2 home games every season since then. Before that it was used for road games where the opponent wore white at home. I think it was used against the Panthers (2012, 2013) and Dolphins (2012, 2020) a couple times, at the Chargers (2014), and at Dallas for a playoff game (2018). It's my favorite combo from the current set, partially because of how rarely it was worn, so I'm definitely glad we're using it more. Bobby Wagner said it was his favorite combination as well in a press conference in 2019.

I meant to ask about doing it at home. When they did so these last two seasons, it has been in December home games. But now they are doing it earlier. I'm going to miss the grey jerseys. It doesn't feel the same without it.

If the Commanders stick with burgundy pants/white socks, that will be a fun matchup between those two!

Maybe the popularity of the throwbacks is getting them to drift away from the mono navy, which would be quite miraculous if it stays this way.

Washington wears the burgundy that will be a good looking matchup. My candidate for the best uniform matchup of week 10 is Jets vs Raiders if NYJ wears green pants.

Seattle starting wearing the grey pants with the navy jersey in Russell Wilson's last season with the Seahawks, right?

They added the Oiler throwback but didn't remove the Columbia Blue from the closet

Tennessee wore the columbia blue tops in Jacksonville and Miami. I was thinking they would do the same in Tampa. If what the article says is to be believed, the Titans will wear the navy blue jersey with white pants when visiting the Buccaneers.

Shame, jets in green vs chargers white/yellow would have been great.

There's a chance for the Chargers and Jets to play again at Metlife, next year in 2024 and in 2025. As for this year, there's a decent chance for them to draw each other. I will say that if Herbert plays better then the two teams won't.
