  1. Arizona wears the blacks in the middle of the season. I wouldn't be worried. We've said how they like to wear the wolf gray against the Cardinals. They often wore the lime green against Minnesota. Seahawks will play the Vikings next year in 2024.
  2. Yet the league let the Rams wear their white jersey against CIN, when the white was an alternate. And allowed the Ravens to exceed the limit of 3 for alternates or throwbacks many times. The league breaks its own rules.
  3. Here's what I think the WAH games will be. Teams who will wear white jerseys at home this season. Baltimore in white jerseys with purple pants against the Texans in week 1. This has been the combo the last two times BAL did it. Most of the time when the Ravens wear white jersey at home it comes during 1 PM games in week 1. Last time that wasn't so was in 2016 against Buffalo, and that game turned out to be the hottest game in Baltimore Ravens history. The Ravens probably regretted not doing it. I think the Jets will wear white jerseys at home for at least one home game. I'll say the home opener against Bills. They've done it more than once the last two seasons. Hard to say what they'll do this time around. I think NYJ will wear green more with Rodgers on the team. Bills in all white against the Raiders, the regular white uniform. As for the throwback whites, did Buffalo do away with those? Miami will be in white uniforms in their daytime homes in September and October. They'll be in their aquas, regular or throwback, for the later home games against the Titans, Cowboys, and Titans. Did Miami do away with the white throwbacks? Also, Miami has liked to wear their aqua throwbacks against the Patriots in recent years. The home game against New England is on October the 29th. Miami has worn aqua throwbacks against the Bills on October the 23rd in 2016. I wouldn't rule out the chance of the Dolphins wearing when they play New England in week 8. Houston in all white against the Colts. The Texans always do all white for the home opener. Not much else to say. Titans in white jerseys and navy pants against the Chargers. Tennessee used to wear white jerseys at home for the whole month of September when it's a 1 PM game, and even to early October. But in recent seasons they've gone to the columbia blue alternates after doing WAH. Jaguars in white jerseys against the Chiefs and Texans. Jacksonville will wear different pants (don't know which colors) with the white jerseys for each of the games. Raiders in white color rush with the silver numbers against the Chargers in week 15. The Raiders have always worn the white color rush against the Chargers or for a Thursday night game. Chargers in white against the Dolphins? LAC normally wore white for their home openers. I think the omission against the Raiders last year was because they didn't want to put the Raiders in black and the team wanted to ensure there was enough powder blue games. We'll see if it was a hiatus or if they'll change routines. Bengals may or may not wear white at home this year. I think CIN didn't wear white in the opener against the Steelers last year for the same thing I said about the Chargers against the Raiders. Cincinnati is hard to say. I think they'll be in black for the Ravens. They could wear the white color rush against the Rams on MNF. But that's a big game, and I don't know if they want to wear the white color rush for that one. Cowboys in their white color rush against the Seahawk and the regular white jerseys for most of the other home games. They'll wear the blue throwbacks against the Commanders unless they decide otherwise. Dallas wore their regular navy blue at home except for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Will Dallas reserve a home game for the regular navy blue jersey? Giants in white color rush against the Seahawks. NYG has worn the white color rush for primetime home games. I don't they'll wear them against Dallas because they already did that last year, and it's really early like the 2020 MNF against Pittsburgh. Commanders in white jerseys against the Cardinals, Cowboys, and maybe the Bills. Does Washington wear red against the Bills or will they still be in white for that game? Bears in white throwbacks against an NFC North rival or another team I have no clue about. Packers in white color rush against the Lions. Assuming Green Bay continues the routine. Vikings in all white against the Lions? When Minnesota did the white out with the field against the Giants, was that a one time thing? Or could they do it more? Panthers in white against the Saints, Vikings, and Cowboys. Last year the Panthers wore white jerseys at home more times than they normally did because 4 of the 5 games was early in the season when it's hot in Charlotte. Carolina wore white against Tampa Bay probably because of the Bucs doing it to them in week 17. Buccaneers in white jerseys against the Bears, Falcons, and Titans. In all white for the Bears and maybe Falcons. Pewter pants with the white jerseys for the Titans. Saints in white color rush against the Jaguars. Atlanta has worn white at home with the current design. Except last year. Since they aren't wearing the gradient jersey this year, is there room for a white jersey game? I think they didn't do it last year because it has taken away a spot from the regular black jerseys when they did do WAH. Rams in white jerseys and yellow pants against the 49ers. Or does LAR wear the bone jersey? 49ers used to wear the white color rush for home games. But they've been used for games at Seattle. Colts wore white at home against the Titans in 2019. Was that a one time thing?
  4. Raiders vs Lions is going to be unsightly. LV needs to be allowed to wear their black jersey. How the league allows the charcoal color against white jerseys/uniforms is appalling.
  5. Maybe they'll still wear blue for those two selected games? The gray uniform only matches with the gray helmet. I could be wrong, but the blue helmet looks like it will go along with the all blue when Detroit decides to do that.
  6. Mandating a throwback league wide would seem forced. Just like with the color rush games that used to be mandatory. And it's not like teams don't/can't both wear a throwback in a game. Throwback Thursdays sounds lame. Then there are teams who don't have anything to throw back to. Or want to do it just for the sake of it.
  7. I had a dream that the Chargers played the Dolphins. Miami was in their aqua jersey. In the dream the Chargers attempted an onside kick and got a penalty for it.
  8. Is that the game against the Cardinals in 2019?
  9. I hope it doesn't become like the Eagles always wearing their black alternate against the Giants, or the Seahawks always wearing the wolf grey against the Cardinals. NYG will have 2 of their 9 road games be in blue. I hope they don't wear the white color rush at SF, or else the regular white uniform will have another spot taken. I believe the Giants will wear the white color rush against the Seahawks for MNF. Was the wearing of the regular white jersey at home against the Rams in 2021 only a one-time thing? I think doing the same against the Patriots would be a good way to honor the Giants teams that won the two Super Bowls against New England with those uniforms.
  10. And they pretend to care about player safety or other stuff while being all about the mighty dollar. There's going to be disadvantage with teams who have to play Thursday nights twice, and the teams could do poorly, as if that wasn't bad enough already. In 2012 the league made every team have at least 1 primetime game. Of course, that was back then. Before that, only some teams had Thursday night games while others didn't. The teams who didn't have a Thursday night game had an advantage over the teams who did have them.
  11. The Jets wear the black alternate against a team who also has black on their uniform or a team with a color close to black. Last year they wore white at home more times than they normally did. That was appalling. Maybe they stop that routine now that they have Rodgers.
  12. Please please. Robert Kraft or whoever makes the decisions on the uniforms, make this happen.
  13. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/05/13/many-teams-that-opposed-thursday-flexing-got-two-short-week-games/ Are the teams who are playing twice on Thursdays who opposed the Thursday flexing a coincidence? This also happens because teams like the Cardinals, Colts, Falcons, and Texans don't have a pimetime game. Also, doesn't this go against the competitive advantage that the league was trying to alleviate?
  14. I used to live around that area where the Nike headquarters is. There were nice areas and places for walking there. I miss it over there in Beaverton Oregon. As for the Arizona Cardinals new uniform. They are growing on me.
  15. I think the Titans wear white jerseys for the week 2 home game, and the Chargers be in the powder blue jersey. Reason Tennessee wore navy against the Giants in the home opener last year was because it was a 4 PM game. As for the Chargers, they didn't do WAH last year. Was that an anomaly? I hope they do all white for the home opener again. We've seen MIA in white vs LAC in powder blue plenty already. Do the Ravens wear white jerseys for the home opener against the Texans? They last wore white at home in 2020 against the Browns. I hate that the schedule makers put Dallas vs Miami late in the year. But since this has to be, I hope the Dolphins wear their (aqua) throwbacks. The Dallas vs Buffalo games have always been the same colors. I was hoping it would be in September. I wish the Bills pull off the gimmick that teams have done to the Cowboys so that we have a new uniform matchup. Another good uniform matchup we've been robbed of is the Lions in their current white uniform and the Buccaneers in the newer red/pewter. Now we'll never see that uniform matchup with Detroit getting new uniforms next year. I don't like this year's schedule, it hampered potentially good uniform matchups. The 2023 schedule disappoints me.
  16. You can guarantee that in week 18 Washington does Dallas.
  17. I see the part about fans wanting a roof. Like the roof at Miami's Hard Rock stadium?
  18. The bigger concern is if the person donning number 4 can stay on the field and live up to the contract he was given.
  19. This was mentioned a while back. The Texans and Panthers series has always been Carolina in white and the Texans in their colors. Bryce Young and CJ Stroud, the top two picks in the draft, will be facing each other. The league will want to showcase that. Could it be a candidate for a primetime slot? This has a good chance of breaking the cycle of the same uniform matchup.
  20. Buffalo should still be the favorite in the AFC East. I think the Dolphins are better depending on what happens.
  21. I think the Ravens and Texans are fine. I'm afraid that whatever re-design they'll have be a step down from what they are. We've seen how bad it's gotten with the Jaguars. Maybe just a tweak like the Panthers would do.
  22. The NFC has the 9th home game next year. The NFC North team will host an AFC East team who they finish in the same place as, in 2024. What are the chances the Jets and Packers finish in the same place?
  23. I thought Denver's current uniform was good when it was under Reebok. But with Nike it doesn't have the same charm. Same thing with other teams. Since Elway is stepping away from the organization, this is a good time to leave these uniforms behind. Resurrecting old designs and modernizing them is the trend now. I'd like to see the Broncos white jersey and orange pants that they used in the old days.
