They could still get a couple of home games. By my math, if the Eagles lose tomorrow night (and now they may not even have Hurts), it'd be a conference loss, which would even them in the first two tiebreakers. Not sure what comes after that, but I doubt that the Eagles would still control their own destiny like they can today.
TL;DR - at least they're getting beat by an AFC team. Interconference losses don't hurt as much as conference ones.
But Buffalo was a common opponent with the Eagles and that is the 3rd tiebreaker (after head to head, and divisional record). Conference record is the 4th tiebreaker now.
Philly can lose tomorrow night but still beat the Giants twice, plus Arizona and they’d be the NFC East champion regardless of how Dallas finishes the year.
Dallas needs to win out, and have Philly lose at least one game to New York to have any hope to win the division.
The Eagles still control their destiny even with a loss tomorrow.

Pathetic from the Cowboys today. Perfectly encapsulates why they’re not going to win a Super Bowl. Play a good team on the road (which is what they’re going to have to do in the postseason) and just completely fall apart. That is their M.O.

If you run right at this Dallas defense they just kinda crumble.
Seems to me that even if you don’t have an especially good run game, you should still just plow right at them. Even the Cardinals did it.
You nailed it right on the head. This is exactly why I don’t trust the Cowboys in the playoffs (also why I’m okay with Dan Quinn leaving this offseason). It’s been a consistent issue for the last 3 seasons.
Cowboys D is built to be great in a very specific way and if it goes off script for them, they cannot stop anything.

Nothing better than blowing out the Eagles on national television.

Tough game for LAFC, but a deserved result for Columbus. They played a great game and were the better team.
Still pleased that LAFC made it to the Cup Final after the season we had, but there are going to be a lot of question marks going forward. This roster needs some added talent, the midfield needs a revamping (I hope Kellen Acosta played his last game for LAFC) and they need a true 9 to pair with Denis. Overall, it was a good season that fell just short of their goal. Onto the next season.

Cowboys fans should probably sit this one out.
When there’s an opportunity to clown on the Eagles, I never will turn that down. They got blown out by the Super Bowl favorite just like the Cowboys did in an equally embarrassing fashion.- 2

They or Detroit will get there but I have a feeling Lamar Jackson gets his ring this year.
Detroit isn’t there yet. They need a few pieces still and I don’t trust Goff in the big moments. San Francisco would eviscerate them. I think both Dallas and Philly would beat them in the postseason too. -
I detest how the Eagles have me rooting for the Niners. Gross.
EDIT: Isn’t it crazy how when the Eagles aren’t getting the benefit of the whistle against a good team, they’re getting blown out?
EDIT EDIT: Niners are gonna win the Super Bowl, aren’t they?

Very surprised to see LAFC rebound from the early part of this year where they had countless letdowns and generally just didn’t play up to their lofty standards after blowing the CCL Final against León, yet they made it back to the MLS Cup Final.
This Final will be tougher than last year. On the road, no Gareth Bale to save the day and this is a more defensive team than the team from last season. LAFC has to win this for Vela as it’s seemingly his final game for the club.
Also weird bit of history repeating itself: the last time a team won back-to-back Western Conference Titles while being the defending Champions also faced Columbus in Columbus for the Final. Seattle v. Columbus during 2020.

Dak is unbelievable man. Dude is playing by far the best he ever has in his career. Only reason why the Cowboys won tonight. He should clearly be the MVP front runner.
Defense still has me worried against good offenses. They are built to stop teams in exactly one way (which is what happened in this game over the final 7 minutes of the 4th) and if the script goes any other way, they collapse. Again, if it weren’t for Dak being on an absolute tear this season and in this game, they easily would have lost.

I'm going back to laughing at people claiming that the Eagles are getting the benefit of all the referee calls, which is still the silliest thing I've read on these boards since Tnak choked on his own chicken. Oh... and the Cowboys, who were the benefit of what was honestly (no hyperbole) the worst call I've ever seen:
No clear fumble recovery: There were four Eagles around the ball, and zero Cowboys. The replay people said they couldn't confirm that the Eagles got the ball, and the refs announced that it was a fumble, but no clear recovery by the Eagles. GTFO.
Wasn’t this from a Cowboys-Eagles game years ago?? Malcom Jenkins hasn’t played for the Eagles since 2019.So you’re doing a whataboutism and referencing a game that happened last decade as an example of how the Eagles are actually not Steelers-esque in getting beneficial officiating this season?
Lmao, c’mon my man. If I wasn’t in phone I’d post countless screenshots of penalties and bad decisions by the refs that have benefited the Eagles- 2

That's funny, considering the amount of borderline penalties called against the Eagles that allowed Dallas to drive all the way down the field at the end a few weeks ago - including a roughing the passer, that while technically legit, could easily have been let go and nobody would have complained.
Can’t believe you’re arguing that the Eagles aren’t the beneficiary of the officials while using a game that the officials made several egregious errors that directly contributed to the Eagles win. I’m not saying that the officials are betting on the Eagles or fixing games or anything like that, but it’s apparently they are getting the benefit of the whistle more often than they are being screwed over by the officials.
I saw a fun stat today: the Eagles have the worst point differential of any 10-1 team since the 2012 Atlanta Falcons and have the 3rd worst DVOA (defensive adjusted value over average; in other terms, how good a team is over the average of that season) of any 10-1 team in the modern era.

Who's getting one-sided officiating? The Eagles, who get called for two questionable false snaps on the center which took them out of normal-tying field goal range at the end of regulation? Get called for defensive holding seemingly every drive, and always get a 'roughing the passer' in the 4th quarter of nearly every game (in at least one case where the QB fell on his own without even being touched)?
Yes, the Eagles.
It’d be one thing if the Eagles consistently had officials that were stingy with penalties and both sides weren’t getting calls, but when the disparity is like this you cannot claim that your team isn’t the beneficiary of officiating.
They absolutely have been and it’s been to their benefit especially when you consider that the Eagles have played in 8 games decided by less than one score. I have numerous clips showing outrageous penalties committed by the Eagles that went uncalled too.
Kudos to the Eagles for still winning those games and capitalizing in these close games, but you cannot also try to claim that the Eagles aren’t getting favorable calls consistently. They’re becoming Steeler-esque in terms of favoritism.

I dont remember them ever saying playoff games would be free.
You’re correct. I misread, and misinterpreted, a statement from MLS saying a select few playoff games would be on normal TV and thought they meant it would be all of the playoff games. Still annoyed that I have to pay the season pass price to watch the postseason, but it looks like I’m going to have to.
Real pleased that LAFC has found its way back to the Western Conference Finals after a lackluster season. They have been anything but dominant yet still find themselves two wins away from repeating.

To whichever dope called them the Vikings, please find a stretch of Viking football where they won 14 straight against teams with winning records. I doubt they've won more than a few per season.
I think that dude is a dope too, but I think what he’s referring to is that like the Vikings last year, the Eagles also have an insane record in one-score games this season. They are 7-1 in those games and their biggest win is only by 14 points.
They’re not blowing out teams like they did last year, and somehow keep finding ways to win these close games which is similar to what Minnesota did last year.
The better comp would be the 2021 Titans or 2020 Steelers with the exception that the Eagles are winning every single one of their games against good teams and haven’t lost one yet (however, winning games against teams with winning records during the regular season doesn’t correlate to postseason success).

I’m real annoyed that I have to pay for the MLS Season Pass to watch tonight’s Seattle-LAFC when the MLS said playoff games would be free. I’m not playing $15 to watch at most, 3 games.
