  1. I'm digging them. I think it's an upgrade from what they've been wearing. The diamond pattern on the shoulders seems off when looked at from far away but I think it's something I can get used to.
  2. With the whole "We The North" campaign, I was thinking that all the jerseys would say Toronto; but none of them have Toronto which to me doesn't make sense. Overall, not as bad as what I thought they would turn out.
  3. The Africentric Nubians out of Columbus, Ohio. Their logo is the continent of Africa. Yes, Africa. They're known for basketball up here. They are always making the final four in both girls and boys basketball. Football helmet Their girls basketball team even has Africa on their uniform. Not sure if this counts as copied but I doubt that any other school or sports teams logo (except for maybe national teams) features a continent.
  4. Well I remember when my school's football team won the state title in 1999 and 2000 for football and that was a huge deal for a town of only 900 people. That's when I was 11-12 years old. Then I moved schools and that school won the team state title in cross country in 2002 and 2004 which was a huge deal too. Living in Cincinnati, everybody here talks about the 1975 Reds; and I can't blame them. My dad was a teenager when they won the title in '75 and always tells me stories about the team. He has all kinds of newspaper clippings in a binder which he says hung on his wall in his bedroom. It's always cool to look through.
  5. Could I get one of the Ohio Bobcats where it says "Where I come from... All we do is party", and using these pics in this order with the Ohio Bobcats logo in the middle; http://www4.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Walter+Offutt+NCAA+Basketball+Tournament+Third+UQ2S9MwsH8Ul.jpg http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/slides/photos/003/064/853/ScreenShot2013-03-29at3.48.39PM_original_original_display_image.png?1364601698 http://woub.org/sites/default/files/styles/slideshow/public/GR_2012-01-21-3464_RMLY.jpg http://sports.cbsimg.net/u/photos/football/college/img21464866.jpg Thanks a bunch
  6. That stadium drawing... Wow! That's amazing. Keep up the great work.
  7. I guess this means now that since they won't be producing a college football game, I'm 99% sure that we'll never see a college basketball game either. I used to play the hell out of those games. I always thought that NCAA Basketball 10 would've been 100 times better if it would've had a teambuilder type system like the college football games did.
  8. Please. They need some help with their logos. I have better stock ones on my computer. There is no way you're going to start a league with 20 teams. Maybe 4-6 but not 20. I'd like to know where they're going to get the money to provide transportation for a team in Oklahoma to go to New York and how they're going to pay for this "television network". No way this is going anywhere.
  9. After doing some research on some cities and cities that have submitted bids for hosting the olympics, I've came up with where I think some of the future sites might be. My predictions for the host city are in bold. 2022 Winter Olympics: Almaty, Kazakhstan - Kazakhstan? Yes. Almaty is the largest city and former capital of Kazakhstan. It is still considered the financial center of the country. Almaty hosted the 2011 Asian Winter Games and will host the 2017 Winter Universiade (which is pretty much an olympics for college students) so they obviously have the venues to host big sporting events but some would have to be built. Almaty bid previously for the 2014 Winter Olympics but failed to become a candidate city. Almaty has placed a bid to host. The only other bid that has been submitted for the 2022 Winter Olympics is Barcelona, Spain Quebec City is out of the question. Regis Labeaume (mayor of Quebec City) has ruled out hosting in 2022. IOC president Jacques Rogge stated that 2026 would be a realistic option for the city. If they were to ever host though, they would have to find a mountain for downhill events as Le Massif was not approved. 2024 Summer Olympics: Toronto, Ontario - This is my pick to host. Toronto is set to host the 2015 Pan American Games and is also spending C$1.4 billion in upgrades towards existing Toronto sports venues. The IOC president as also stated that if the 2015 Pan American Games are a success, it could greatly improve Toronto's chances in hosting the games. South Africa - This one is a long shot but I think a city in South Africa has to be in contention. South Africa just hosted the FIFA World Cup. Durban, South Africa had a bid for the 2020 Olympics but withdrew its bid. Paris - Paris wants the 2024 Olympics as it would commemorate the 1924 Olympics which were held in Paris. Being a cultural and economic center in Europe, I can't see why Paris wouldn't be a candidate city for 2024, but would they beat out Toronto? There is too much to state about the US hosting. The USOC sent letters to 35 cities to gauge their interest in submitting a bid. Some of the cities that received a letter; Atlanta, Boston, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Columbus, Philadelphia, Seattle, Indianapolis, Austin, San Antonio, Memphis, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Miami and more. If the US bids, it will most likely be New York or LA in my opinion. 2026 Winter Olympics: Only seven potential bids have been announced for the 2026 Winter Olympics. They are Karkow, Poland, Quebec City, Bozeman, Montana, Reno-Lake Tahoe, Denver, Boston, and Anchorage. If Quebec City can find a mountain nearby that is approved by the IOC. I think Quebec City will be a no brainer to host even though I would like to see an Alaskan Olympics . The only city I think that would be in contention would be Denver. I would talk about where I think the 2028 Summer Olympics would end up going but there isn't really a lot of information on it yet. Sorry for the book. I have held back in this debate for a while but I felt the need to state my opinion.
  10. Out of the three candidate cities, the most logical in my mind was Tokyo. Tokyo has almost all of the venues it needs to host the game already and they're going to give a $1 billion upgrade to the original Olympic Stadium. I am hoping that the games can return to North America for 2024, but if I had to make a prediction it will go to South Africa or Paris. All I am hoping for is a decent olympic logo instead of the trash we had last year.
  11. Dat tongue. I think that script 2 could be cleaned up a bit. I don't really like the mix of bold and thin letters and it starts to trail up at the end. I don't really like the blue maple leaf either. I do like where you are going with this though. Can't wait to see version 2.
  12. The untouchable Maybach Empire

  13. I prefer the yellow instead of the gold because to me it makes it look like the St. Louis Rams. Other than that, beautiful.
