  1. Umass-Lowell jumping to Division 1? How many more schools are moving on up along with UNK and Grand Canyon?

There's Abliene Christian and Incarnate Word, who are joining the Southland in 2013.

Northern Kentucky and Nebraska-Omaha are already in the process of moving up.

I went to an NKU game last month and they have a pretty decent basketball team for a first year Division 1 program. Great facility too. They are doing pretty well in the A-Sun and wouldn't be surprised to see them in the tournament here in about 5-6 years.

  2. Anyone else have GIGANTIC headers on the tops of each forum section?

Yep. Mine are gigantic and I have the weird big font.

I meant to say big. It won't let me edit my posts.

  3. My College Football Realignment 2013 (Note: I didn't do the divisions, just all teams in the conferences. All are BCS conferences as of 2012):

    BIG:

    Northwestern

    Minnesota

    Michigan

    Mich. St

    Ohio St

    Indiana

    Purdue

    Nebraska

    Wisconsin

    Illinois

    Iowa

Penn St (2012, then jumps to the MAC)

    ND (2013)

The question here is if the MAC will let a school the size of Penn State in the MAC considering the largest school by enrollment in the MAC right now is Akron with 29,251 students. Penn State has an enrollment of 95,883 students (if you count all the campuses). I also think Penn State is too prestigious to join the MAC. And would the MAC even let them in because of the scandal? I think Penn State's best bet is to join the Independents.

    Stop talking to yourself.

For about the 50th time, WE ARE NOT THE SAME PERSON!

    umm... is this real?

He was a coach or something for the Dodgers. The clip is probably from a practice or pre-game. I don't think he actually played for anyone other than the Red Sox, Yankees, and Braves.

I forgot he was a coach for the Dodgers. He was the first base coach. Here's my long post!:

Reggie Jackson in a Seattle Mariners uniform in 1979. Reggie forgot his Yankees uniform for the '79 All-Star game photo shoot and had to borrow a Mariners uniform.
