  5. Sounds to me like you're describing the Denver Broncos logo perfectly.
  6. In an effort to steer this thread back on track a bit, but moreso because I've been wondering this for a long time, and because yours is probably one of the opinions I'd actually respect: What was wrong with the old Rams logo? I don't know if my homerism of being a diehard St. Louis Rams fan shows but, hell, I always thought that that logo was in the top 10 of the league easily. I hear all the time how people dislike it and I've often wondered why.
  7. See, the problem I have with Vancouver isn't necessarily the logo, but the color treatment of it. To have green everywhere else: hem, pant, and sock stripes; shoulder patch, anniversary patch, and even the stick tape(!) and then have a primary logo with no green, but instead navy and silver, which are featured no where else in the team's identity, has always bugged me. But, they did get rid of the arched 'VANCOUVER', so, I guess that's a plus. I would say that the most underappreciated look for Vancouver was the "flying skate" era, but, since it's been brought back via fan vote, I guess it can't really be considered underappreciated. These were underappreciated:
  8. I agree. I think it's an attractive looking logo, but I also get some Dr. Manhattan + vinyl record vibes from it. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, per se. Those two things were just the first to come to mind when looking at the logo.
  9. Save for the advert on the stomach, these aren't too bad as a one-off. I wish there was a better color balance on the tops like the right leg of the shorts. But overall, they're not horrible. I mean, we've seen worse in pro sports in the 90s-00s. *cough*LA Burger Kings*cough*
  10. Does it work if I remove the outline completely? When I first envisioned the logo, I wanted the 'AH' to be a different color than the '!' to draw more attention to the exclamation mark. Thanks for drawing that up sparky! I'll trace it and see how it looks when it's digitized. I appreciate all the comments, guys.
  11. Finally got some time to work on this. I added a couple additional color options. Thoughts?
  12. This is exactly what the Rams should do. The logo they have had since 2000 is a damn decent logo. I'd understand the want for LA to leave it behind but it's a fantastic logo that looks great in the old color scheme. I'd hate for it to go only to see some boring 'LA' monogram, which I feel will be the case, unfortunately. Good work.

    Super Bowl IVXX

Reggie BKush is the obvious choice
  14. Thanks sparky! That's a great idea and I'll try to execute that in conjunction with what @darkpiranhahad suggested as well.
  15. That's what I worried about. I have these saved on my computer that were drafts before I sought critique on the logo I posted above. For these, I felt as though they were lopsided, had issues with angles and line weights, and that maybe the stripe through the crossbars was too superfluous for a monogram. Though the initial purpose was to add the illusion that the teal was a part of the exclamation mark and crossbar of the H, simultaneously. I did, however, try out a banner-like effect to see what the mark would look like if the striping pattern through the crossbars did continue. Is there anything in the drafts that worked well, perhaps better, than in the logo I initially posted?

    AH! Creative

As you can probably tell by my new username, I've decided it was time for a personal brand. I actually had been working on this monogram logo for a while. My initials are AH. So, I thought that I could do something neat with the interjection, "ah!" that my initials naturally produce. I juggled ideas between AH! Design, AH! Graphics, and AH! Creative. I decided on the latter, simply because it opens up many different avenues. My username, I wanted to be AH! Creative, but since the '!' isn't allowed, I settled on AHcreative. Nevertheless, here is the logo that I finished a couple months ago. I would appreciate any and all suggestions to improve it. Thanks! EDIT: I am also very open to color suggestions. I do like cooler colors: shades of minty green to shades of electric blue, mixed with silvers, grays, blacks, etc.
  17. This one is getting to me in a weird way like no other death has. I've never been a basketball fan, I don't think I've seen as much as 2 full minutes of Kobe playtime, yet, this one is effecting me pretty harsh. This man was only 41 years old. He was with his daughter. They were going to a youth basketball game together, something I'm sure they were both looking forward to. Then, all of the sudden, they weren't. Kobe had only been retired for a few years, he's leaving behind a wife, three other children, and one on the way. I can't even imagine with his wife and kids are going through. I'm on the exact opposite spectrum of life: unmarried, no kids. But damn, this just makes me really sad. I thought 2020 was gonna bring some bright changes to overturn some of the misery of the past few years. What a tragedy. RIP Kobe.
  18. Same. I did a search as well and couldn't find anything. I wonder if somehow he got his username switched back to whatever the original was.
  19. Aw man, I remember this. Was he banned or did he just fizzle out?
  20. Finally. I like my surname well enough, but I guarantee no one here knows how to pronounce it nor do many even know it's my name. I too like the idea of having a pinned thread where we all put OLD USERNAME >> NEW USERNAME.
  21. Ah, I missed it last week. @Kramerica Industries, If it means anything, I would have picked Kansas City and Green Bay. Anyway... Super Bowl LIV Champions: Kansas City Chiefs
  22. I can't believe that neither New England nor New Orleans will be playing in the Divisional Round this year. It's even more surprising that both teams made the playoffs but lost in the Wild Card round. Though, I'm not complaining... My money's on all four home teams. Minnesota vs. San Francisco Tennessee vs. Baltimore Houston vs. Kansas City Seattle vs. Green Bay
  23. I really like these. I'm not a fan of the recent decision of black vs white ASG jerseys. I assume most of us feel the same way. Count me in as a fan of the logos on the sleeves as well. The only thing I'm not feeling about these are the Tennessee Titans-esque numbers. I'd go with a more traditional font.
