  1. Be very quiet about this, but the word-mark has been changed, but it's ever so slight.

  2. . The Bambino in a Boston Braves uniform at the Polo Grounds in NY in 1935 . .. Then in a Brooklyn Dodgers uniform at Ebbetts Field as 1B coach in 1938
  3. . Thurman Thomas wearing the ultimate enemy uniform down in Miami in 2000.
  4. Looks great! Love how the 'G' stands out with the green coloring which I hope stands out thru time.
  5. You really gotta look at it pretty close up to notice the 'G' from their logo. It's just your basic diamond overkill with team logo that all other teams use. They're one of the few teams who could get away with using emeralds to go with the diamonds. It would make their rings so unique and fit the bill, just as they are the most unique team in the NFL. Perhaps that's along the lines of what Mark Cuban was thinking the other night with his remark when asked about championship rings .... rings are great, just do something with the design that makes them different from all the brand X's. Anybody know if the PACKERS ring ceremony will be televised on NFL-Network, just like they televised their Super Bowl gala??
  6. How many diamonds does a PACKERS player need in their rings? I think it would be cool if they put some emeralds in the 'G' area to make it stand out. Ridenlow, I hope you don't mind ?
  7. I just wanted to take a moment to thank-you for yesterday. Not cuz of agreeing with me, but for reading the posts and realizing I was right and rather than keeping quiet not to make any waves, u came to my defense. Those other guys were purposely kissing Chris' ass. I appreciate his work but in the past he never would accept anything until it became official. I have standup respect 4 what u...

  8. I don't buy replicas anymore, only authentic ... but when I had my last replica I washed it in cold water, and inside out ... inside out is the way to go, and you never put them in the dryer, air dry If you wash it in a full load with alot of other clothes rubbing all over it in the wash cycle it's just gonna wear out quickly, especially if you don't wash it inside out. You don't have to spend a near $300 at NFL.com or thru your team apparel shop to get a genuine authentic. USA vendors get them too at much better prices.
  9. These websites that sell them, click on 'contact us' ... if there's no mailing address or phone number listed, 99% of the time they're located in China. All they give you is an email address for contact and customer service ... Sometimes when they reply, some of the fonts are Mandarin and Cantonese letters.
  10. $300 isn't for a 'simple' jersey ... those are for authentics .... The replicas cost about $80 The authentics cost more than replicas here in the USA due to names & numbers being sewed on rather than heat-applied ... or shall we saw ironed-heat-pressed on. Plus their profit-margin they apply. The Chinese ones, they pretty much change much of the entire blue-print of the jersey as shown in many posts on here.
  11. I've been trying for years to find out if the BILLS script logo has a font name ??? I believe it must've just been designed just like a logo is, rather than being taken from some kind of very rare font.
  12. Here's what I do when looking to buy a jersey at a website. First thing I do is look for the 'contact us' info ... if there even is one. If they don't list a USA type phone number ... and/or .... USA address, it generally means they're in China or someplace very foreign and I will not do business with them. I found a nice authentic NFL jersey, clicked on the 'contact us' info .... listed there was a NJ phone number. I then contacted them, found out their office and where they ship from is out of New Jersey, and went over their return policy with them. It's also guaranteed to be authentic NFL merchandise/apparel. I can't get over how many of the 'contact us' boxes were only links to contact them by email. No phone number, no address!!! Not the type of company you wanna take a chance by spending your hard-earned dollars at. PLEASE don't get fooled. You may get the merchandise, but it's fake. Those ridiculously low prices you find on these websites are for a very good reason. If it's super-inexpensive from an American merchant, it's generally a clearing-house from a player no longer with that club that too many were produced and they just wanna move 'em out and take a loss on them.
