  1. Always love when people go with 4 jerseys per team in their concept series. Especially making their 3rd different but still kinda traditional. And always gotta have a retro. Also love how you have an explanation for each design. And the merch is an added touch. Good job!
  2. All of these so far are very good! Like able to have their own unique yet traditional approach. Toronto, Saskatchewan and Calgary really stands out to me.
  3. I know that compared to the other leagues, the CFL isn’t as big in terms of teams but none the less I thought this year I’d do a CFL week by week uniform match up ranking! As well as a uniform power ranking. Week 1 1: Winnipeg Blue Bombers vs Ottawa REDBLACKS (19-17 Winnipeg) Winnipeg’s home and sway’s are by far the best uniforms in the league. A classic modern retro style done right. Ottawa’s new away uniform has grown in me, it’s a good concept, maybe would be even better with black pants but the plaid being here is the best feature. Also maybe a red stripe on the helmet might look good too? But regardless (and despite my team losing) this is a good match up that we didn’t get last year. 2. BC Lions vs Edmonton Elks (59-15 BC) This is the regular season debut of the new Elks away look and it does a lot better than what they had before, it’s still needs a tune for it to be better standing alone (like two green sleeve stripes to cap off the yellow ones). BC on the other had has a good looking colourful uniform here with good contrast. I guess the only thing I could add to it too would be orange socks and the return of the helmet stripes? But overall a good looking match up in a massive blow out that could be a sign of a rebirth of the Vancouver market! 3. Saskatchewan Roughriders vs Hamilton Tiger-Cats (30-13 Riders) Hamilton’s away uniform either with yellow or black pants is great (this uniform alone elevates this match up) the big problem with it is that there needs to be a stripe or two on the pants! Saskatchewan could have gone with green over white as I’m not a big fan of their all green look. Another thing they could have done was bring back the helmet wrap around but that’s just me. Overall though it is a bottom-mid level match up solely for Saskatchewan’s all green look. 4. Calgary Stampeders vs Montreal Alouettes (30-27 Calgary) This one is bottom tier for me because I thought it was kinda bland. I’m still not entirely sold on Montreal’s new look though I’m a fan of the away’s contrast (with navy, white, navy, red). But the jersey itself is too simple and looks like an NCAA 14 team created uniform. And that new helmet is not doing then any favours either. Doesn’t fit the rest of the uniform’s simplistic MO. Calgary on the other hand, looks good-ish? I say that because it’s kinda odd to see any team in the CFL start their season with an alternate uniform outside a special year. They did all the press in the uniform this year too. And while I like it, it makes me wonder what the away or even home uniform will look like. But still, never thought Calgary and Montreal matched up well anyways. The Uniform power rankings: 1. Winnipeg 2. Hamilton 3. BC 4. Ottawa 5. Calgary 6. Edmonton 7. Toronto 8. Montreal 9. Saskatchewan What are your thoughts?
  4. Hamilton really needs to put a strip on the pants and they are easily a clear #2 in the CFL uniform pow… oh :censored:, that Alt knocks them down to 4.
  5. Chicago vs Minnesota at Lambeau… you are crazy and I like it. Kinda a Calgary vs Winnipeg in Regina vibe
  6. Hate me but this patch I thought was the best one, part in no way cause of reasons…
  7. I think Ottawa already did theirs, at least maybe a new home jersey is coming? would love t see black pants with the white jersey.
  8. They still look off, they could have gone with all yellow numbers and it would be more at home on the jersey, mat least more consistent with branding.
  9. They didn’t need to touch the numbers, the all white numbers just look off, sure they pop but not in a good way.
  10. My dark horse pick: Super Bowl XXXI! The uniforms are classic, the turf (however deadly) and field was vibrant, the fox broadcast is amazing and the logo caps it off with flavour! Also the Packers won so that keeps me going.
  11. I know these two jerseys are from last year but due to one team being Canadian and one time being American these two uniforms finally match up since April 16th 1995 and oh is it nice! I know they both have subtle differences but you can’t deny this looks great!
  12. I think Super Bowl XXXI is the best looking Super Bowl. Maybe it’s the field design, maybe it’s the Packers uniforms and the bright Patriots uniform, maybe it’s the Fox Broadcast, or the actual event logo but it’s the best looking one in my opinion. also helps that the Packers won!
  13. Argos going with their old “A” 1991 Helmet decal to celebrate the 91 Grey Cup winning team for this (and Wednesday) weekend.
  14. Blue pants would have been best for the Lions.
  15. I’m torn, it’s a great rebrand but I always though it was missing something and that something is a navy layer to the bolt and numbers. (Completely disregard the bad striping on this one but add the principle of the numbers and that would look so much better) like it adds some definition and makes the elements stand out more.
  16. I mean sure, let’s just make you the fines guy in the CFL.
  17. It was the best photo I could find, but it was taken during warm ups, during the game you wouldn't see any of that.
  18. This is a very superior uniform match up for both Toronto and Hamilton. Lots of colour from both teams, No mono white or black uniforms, if only Hamilton had a black stripe or two on their pants but still. This is a look and a half.
  19. Or maybe a stripe or two on the sleeves akin to the 2013 80’s throwback?
  20. Their practice jerseys use gold, they look so much better.
  21. 2021 CFL uniform power rankings: 1. Winnipeg Blue Bombers, yes the away might lose points for the blue yoke but overall this is a very solid uniform combo that is retro done right but without being full retro. 2. Saskatchewan Roughriders, yes this is part of the template that the other teams have but the Riders pull this 2 colour uniform off quite well, now the weakest of the set is the all green but even then it’s not so bad. Also that retro alternate is nice looking too. 3. Calgary Stampeders, it pains me to say as a REDBLACKS fan that they pull off this look quite well, from the home and away it is nice, the outlaw alt is always nice to see and now their 75th anniversary uniform is also a great addition to their set that I hope actually sticks around for a bit after this year. One thing though that helps this set over this year is the helmet modification of adding the 2 stripes, say what you want about the 75th logo being on one side and the horse on the other but the stripes look nice. 4. BC Lions. Honestly, this is not such a bad uniform set, I love the black helmet, enough orange on it to distinguish itself from Ottawa and Hamilton. I’d love to see the white jerseys with orange pants and the orange jerseys with black pants but even then they still have a solid uniform. 5. Hamilton Tiger-Cats, they lose points for the leggings look with their pants. I don’t mind the all black socks but put the stripes back on the pants as well as the yellow ones too. But love the yellow stripe being added back. 6. Ottawa REDBLACKS, my team and we suffer greatly from the template. While the home uniform is the same that it’s been since 2016 (minus a small modification) it’s joined this year by a new away uniform that has a heavy plaid influence and an alt that is red and influenced by the Rough Riders and Renegades but still they just come off as meh, but love the bold plaid design ont he away. 7. Toronto Argonauts, Now this is a simple uniform and not much is going on with it, but while the jerseys could use a stripe the overall uniform set actually looks good and it’s simplistic nature is what works. Though with the helmet and the switch back to a retro inspired boat logo they took the stripe off the helmet and wish they added it back. 8. Montreal Alouettes, the new simplistic rebrand is something I guess, it is very underwhelming to me. While they know how to make it look not bad, it’s just a bit too simple for me. The logo as it is on the helmet is lost as well, they need to scale it down to be seen. 9. Edmonton Elks, now the criticism is not about the name but when you try to clean the racist name from your brand but you scrub to hard and :censored: up the rest of your branding it is a problem. They didn’t need to touch the numbers, they didn’t need to touch the helmet, but they did and it looks bad. The white numbers on the home kills the look entirely as they are too thick and bland, they could have used gold like on their practice jerseys and it would have looked way better.
