Home uniform is awesome, too bad it's gonna be worn with the blue leggings way too much. This set would be a heck of a grand slam without the the Detroit wordmark, the black set, the plain white pants and with some stripes on the blue pants.

Are they being demoted to the UFL or something? Sheesh...

My guess : Classic silver Blue paired with the black jerseys White for a solid white set to jump on the "icy" bandwagon

We're now pants stripes away from a very good update. Considering the fact that they said mix and match is very important, I'm definitely holding my breath...

So the helmet should have blue and white stripes with the same pattern. We saw the thin white stripe added so it makes sense.

That with block numbers (white outlined in silver also works) would be timeless. A perfect look for the Lions...

Rod Wood was pretty secretive but specifically talked about making the numbers more legible. I don't think they'll just change the outline from charcoal to white while lightening the grey a bit... White numbers, no contrasting collars, very good helmet made even better better with white added, Barry era pants and no black in sight? I'm not as worried as I was...

The blue ones don't seem to have any but the stripe at 0:02 can't be a jersey sleeve. Silver pants with Barry era stripes but plain blue ones to mix and match as they said they wanted?

Thanks! It's great that there's no black on the right banner though. I feared they would add black back to their regular uniforms and logos but they might very well stick to a black alt...

Anyone talked about this yet? Went back quite a bit and couldn't find anything...

Just a guess but considering their orange jerseys are ST/BP designated (black ones aren't), these might be worn when guys are warming-up like when they used to wear colored jerseys back in the days.

That's what New Era is turning into...I always buy a 5950 to go to a new stadium. Went to Texas last season for the first time, went to around twenty Lids, five Rally House from California to Arlington and ended up finding the only decent one at the stadium after seeing about 40 of my size at the other stores that had wrong sizing, awful stitching or way off-center brim, batterman or front logo... New Era definitely feels like a cheap-ass gas station brand these days.

Can't believe the Mariners couldn't take advantage of the switch to finally match their navy jerseys to their hats... Also, the new TD wall separating the uberwealthy from the peasants behind home plate at Rogers Centre is looking absolutely awful on tv.

Was at Camden Yards on Saturday and my girlfriend who's not as uniform nerdy as me noticed the Angels jerseys and pants not matching from the upper level... This is bad.

I can't believe they haven't took advantage of the fabric switch to match the navy shade to their hats...

Only the grey jersey trim isn't on par here... The navy jersey wasn't good but that's still a pretty uniform set.

Am I the only one who loves the Nats in navy jerseys/red batting helmets? This turns a boring red/navy team into something more refreshing/different. They should also pair these with red caps...

Right on. These were designed to go along the monument wordmarks. Recycling this font by taking away the bevels and try to match it with a totally different uniform design with regular script wordmarks is lazy and awful.

It'd be a shame if the font was at least decent...

Same feeling here and I love it. I wasn't expecting that they'd get destroyed this bad. Reporters, players, fans, it's on!
