  1. Yep. What year was that? 2001 was the year I closed it down.
  2. I will also add I have never bought a bootleg of anything, and I never will. But Nike needs to understand they can't put out 100 dollr garbage and have people buy it. Great piece and some good points. I owned a sporting apparel store from 1994 until 2001. I haven't purchased and NFL jersey since then. The NFL can complain all they want, but expecting people to spend 100 bucks on a flimsy cheaply made screen printed jersey is ridicoulous. $100 would be fine for an authentic jersey. They want $300 for the authentic though... that's insane. Great piece and some good points. I owned a sporting apparel store from 1994 until 2001. I haven't purchased and NFL jersey since then. 4. Don't get me started on the music industry. I will post one example of the stupidity of that industry. Metallica Ride The Lightning is a 13-17 dollar CD. 30 years old, should be able to be sold for no more than 9.99
  5. Cost of labor to make these has gone down. Like I have said.. 49.99 should be the ceiling on the cheaply made replica's.
  6. I don't understand what's caused the cost of the replicas to go up so dramatically. It's not like the quality of them has gone up, they've gone way down. It's absolutely ridiculous. Yeah, there has never been a reason for it to happen. I haven't bought a jersey since I closed up shop in 2000 though.
  7. I owned a sporting apparel store for 6 years in the 90's. I remember when the replica's were 39.99 and 49.99. IMHO Replica's should never have gone up from that, they don't cost anymore to make then when Logo Athletic made them. I DESPISE the bootleg crap though.
  8. I saw a few fakes and they were awful, a couple of the throwback Buccaneer Logo Athletic. I won't buy a fake, never have, never will. That being said when Nike gets the NFL license and they bring replica NFL jersey's back to the 50.00 price point they should be then I will buy an NFL replica jersey. I haven't bought an NFL jersey in 10 year simply because Reebok ruined them.
