  1. I hope whatever the Flyers redesign for next year is still in the works, and it’s a good one, because I don’t want Fanatics handling it.
  2. Any info on what the Flyers change is going to be? Obviously the logo and colors aren’t going anywhere, but is there going to be a major overhaul, or just minor changes? While I love the 80s/90s jerseys, I hope they don’t just go back to them as another retro. With the firing of Fletcher (finally), I think every Flyers fan can agree the organ-eye-zation needs a creative, major overhaul, and it would be nice to have new uniforms to match that vision.
  3. I believe the story is that it's obviously his wedding and the in-laws are Canadiens fans, so they had him wear a jersey with his number but their name on it, which I believe is something like Lamarche.
  4. He had no problem playing in Quebec, just not for Quebec.
  5. Agreed. Anyone know what the story is with the Nordiques use of different shades of blue?
  6. It's just a bit early to make this claim, considering they've been with new teams for all of 3 or 4 days. Well, if at the end of either of their careers they're most known for wearing the jerseys they are in that pic, then it wont matter what's claimed about them at all.
  7. Richards seems a bit happier than Carter with his new jersey.
  8. I thought Smith looked pretty damn good in a Rays jersey. Looked like a MLB player to me. Maybe we'll see him in a D-Backs jersey soon. I'd like to see Stamkos in a Phillies jersey.
  9. Add Simon Gagne in a Kings jersey now too. And, of course, Jagr in a Flyers jersey.
  10. I didn't check all 47 pages, so this may already be posted, but here's one I've never seen before today. In researching it, it looks like Trottier had dual citizenship and went from playing with Canada in the '81 Canada cup, to playing for the U.S. in the '84 Canada cup. I know Brett Hull often gets accused of being traitorous, but it seems like Trottier's "offense" is even worse.
  11. You don't have to explain anything. They're in the right jerseys. Parise was born and raised in Minnesota, so even though his Dad is Canadian and Zach could have played for the Canadians, Zach is American through and through. Yeah, Hull was born in Canada, and spent a lot of time there, but he also lived in Chicago with his Dad, where all his other siblings were born. So, while he had dual citizenship, more than that, in '86 Team USA was the one who showed interest in him playing for them, not Canada. Hull decided to stick with that loyalty throughout his career. I admire both of their decisions.
  12. Ironically, he's playing against the Leafs in both pics.
