  1. For the Does you mention that you're going for the same look as the Bucks and Herd logos but you don't quite do them justice. I'd try to make the face match up better to those logos; for the most part you've got the head shaped correctly and the ears look more doe-like than stag, but that snout... The addition of blue helps. For the Mustangs you're trying to update that first logo but yeesh that's a step back. The M is practically illegible and you've clearly only got half a horse there. If he's giddying up out of a letter like the Denver Broncos D logo, that's one thing, but you're trying to convey galloping and there just aren't enough legs. I count one. Carry the speed lines right into the body of the horse maybe instead of being separate. Or, what I would try doing is taking a full silhouette of a galloping horse like in that original logo and just finding a way to modernize the M and the speed lines--bring that logo out of the 90s.
  2. Typo in the Cincinnati wordmark. I like the Miami concept a lot! Agree you maybe need a more interesting name though for that team.
  3. Montréal looks great! That logo and the colors reminds me of Pepsi in the early 90s.
  4. I watch a lot of CFL so this bugs me every time about the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The W on the helmet is less compact and more spread out than the W on the shoulders. A minor detail but when you’ve got both in close proximity like that you probably want some consistency.
  5. You sure that’s an old woman? Because the face suggests Michael Jackson in the later years. I think it’s the questionable lack of nose.
  6. Already mentioned but the retro fauxback logo and jerseys for this one is totally adorables. In a perfect universe this would be a thing. The rest of the concept is a little blah especially standing next to that awesome fauxback look, but then so are the real life Nats.
  7. Awesome concept as always. I’m just not feeling the logos. The flames look too much like hair to me. Redheads are known for their fury though, so this might work!
  8. I really like most of these, but the all red (and cream) Wild third is a little too much red. Colorado is amazing. That powder blue is perfect for that team—why they’ve never tried it is beyond me.
  9. This is so cool. I’m with the others—the “Florida-fied” script version of the TB Giants is the nicest. That look would work anywhere actually.
  10. It’s probably the colors more than anything, but this brings back memories of the old Calgary Cannons. I was lucky to grow up in Alberta in the 90s when they had some serious top class AAA action going on up there. Those were glory years for baseball in Canada. Nice work as always!
  11. HECK ABSOLUTELY YES. Sorry southsiders, but I wish this had actually happened. I love how you just threw all that history out and said, you know what? This is Florida’s team and we gonna do it our way. Well done, sir!
  12. If the Tarpons had happened as you’ve described, you almost have to assume a very different look for Miami’s expansion team in 93. Probably wouldn’t have even been called the Marlins at all due to the similarities. Interesting!
  13. “The Superdome in its baseball configuration” would have been a sad, sad day for baseball. Thank god.
  14. Love what you did with Phoenix. You’d almost have to expect them to change their location name from “Phoenix” to “Arizona” at some point though (like the Cardinals and the Coyotes), especially when your team is the “A’s.” The A-Z A’s has a nice ring to it.
  15. These are really awesome. Some C&C: Baltimore: I wonder what the B logo would look like on the helmet instead of the wings logo. I know you’d have to make a backwards-facing logo for the other side of the helmet but I think it might look better than the primary logo. Also, the big block of wings on the pants is a little too much—I think you could have made that a bit more subtle. Atlanta and Boston: perfect! Buffalo: As mentioned previously the horns are an awkward angle. Also the rhino’s head isn’t quite the right shape to me. If you take the horns off, it could easily be a dog logo. I think what I don’t like about the B logo is that the horns come out the back and not the front. When you think of a rhino charging toward you, you want those horns out front, not back. This is some really nice stuff overall and you should definitely keep at it.
