  1. While we're at it, I don't mind the "toilet seat" collars.
  2. I don't like the Seahawks' all-gray uniform. It's not that bad, but the white looks better. And I think that a neon alt or a throwback would look better.
  3. First things first, why would Louisville and Southern Mississippi go to the Big XII? Louisville already has a commitment to the ACC and So. Miss should stay at C-USA. Secondly, The ACC wouldn't lose any teams to realignment just yet. Finally, Notre Dame would never join a conference. All criticism aside, there might be a few changes to be made and it would look plausible. This senario would happen several years in the future in which the ACC gets raided by the other conferences. Louisville would go to the more stable conference. I'll give you that Southern Miss isn't likely to join any of the big 4, but once their football team gets back on track, Texas- San Antonio and all the other C-USA newcomers won't stand a chance. And the only reason I put Notre Dame in a conference is for the 8 conferences, 16 teams per conference thing to work.
  4. Here's my idea of how it could turn out. You have 8 conferences with 16 teams each. That means 128 teams, only one more FCS team (Appalachian St. in this case) would need to move up for this to work. The playoffs could work two different ways. You could have all 8 conference champions for a 8 team playoff, or you could add 8 at large bids to that and have a 16 team playoff. The ACC kinda falls apart here with teams going to the SEC, Big Ten and Big XII. They get back to 16 by gaining some of the remaining big east schools and some C-USA schools. A few Sun Belt teams go to the C-USA while the others join the MAC.
  5. What about this? It hasn't been talked about because it's not exactly likely, but: Notre Dame to the SEC?
  6. They also went 12-2 and won their conference last year.
  7. Same thing last year for the C-USA. Southern Miss won and they haven't been publicly considered yet.
  8. I think it would be best for the B1G to add Virgina and UNC, and for the SEC to add VT and NC State. However it turns out, expect for the B1G to end up with 16 teams. I don't think the B1G would go past that. Of course, it's up to the B1G.
  9. The (pointless) argument is that Norte Dame likes BC, so they would go to the B1G with them.
  10. You're not going to get any new markets by going to a state you already have a team in. Texas A&M and Missouri both worked because they were the first SEC team in their state.
  11. I like the cut-off stripes better than wrap-around stripes of football uniforms.
  12. I believe they tried at one point, but the backlash forced them to rethink.
  13. What makes them ugly? I think you're the first person to ever say that, so I don't know if you're being contrary just for the hell of it... They just don't look good to me. I doubt I the only person who thinks that.
  14. The current chargers set is te best theyve ever worn. Be even better if the alternate and primary unis were switched.
  15. The metallic silver helmets that the cowboys, panthers, K-State, etc. use are as ugly as helmets can get.
  16. Please don't link to bleacher report. In fact, stop reading bleacher report. Legit news source here. I'm guessing the Big East is seeing the writing on the wall and knowing its only future as a football conference (if any) is providing a place for basketball-oriented schools to park their less popular football programs. I'd look for them to go after Kansas next. Unlikely, since they have now reached 12 teams (effective 2015), which is what they were going for.
  17. What would happen to the smaller bowls if 6-6 teams couldn't make them?
  18. Here's one that seems to be unpopular- I like the steelers slanted number font.
  19. I still think the Big East should try and get Southern Miss. Especially after they killed Houston today.
  20. I like the Chargers' modernized powder blues better than the old ones.
