If somehow the Oakland Raiders end up relocating to a city outside of California, I think the team should do a total rebrand. Name, logos, colors, everything.
If they somehow end up in San Antonio, I'd definitely want them to keep the Silver & Black. Call them the Gunslingers if you must, but keep the Silver & Black.
Why not the San Antonio Riders? Didn't they have a WAFL team or something called the Riders once? Just drop the "a" ... problem solved.

Here are pictures not on that website:
I feel like I've needed this my whole life.

This isn't the board you're looking for.
Using old Jedi mind tricks, eh?

Found this scrolling on Tumblr... don't know where the picture came from but I have never seen this Knick's Jersey in my entire life... Any ideas what this may be? Based on my research this image is from 1996 Antoine Walker's rookie year, this was the 96'-'97 season where these Knicks jerseys template were last used as on the next season New York introduced the Black and Orange wide side panels. Could this image had been altered or was this real?
I also found this searching through images, http://catalog.greyf...spx?lotid=23450 i'm not sure what to make of all of this...
Wow great find. I am probably in the minority but I really like those jerseys along with the ones worn last Christmas.
These were worn during the NBA's 50th Anniversary. A number of teams wore throwbacks throughout the season ... Lakers, Celtics, Knicks, Raptors (Huskies), Pistons, etc.
The Knicks (at least the Knicks) wore home throwbacks too ...

Phoenix to QC really isn't that big of a problem in terms of realignment. QC takes Detroit's place in the East, Detroit moves back to the Western Conference and they take Colorado's spot in that divison, Colorado takes Phoenix's spot in that division.
It's too logical for the NHL to actually do something like that.
But, at the same time Detroit doesn't want to be in the Western Conference. That was one of the hang ups for the realignment in the first place.

Bumping the thread; I don't know why people are so negative to the name change because personally, I love the name. Sadly, the logos also have a bad rap as well. The Pelicans logo sest are some of the best in the 4 Major Professional Leagues of North America and they just scream New Orleans. These two logos are my favorites from the identity.
The Bird-di-lis looks like he's wearing a knights' helmet. It's the only logo of the set I can't stand.

Dr. J in the ATL
Julius Erving signed and played briefly with the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks contract was ruled in invalid by the courts. This episode was very expensive to the Hawks. The NBA fined the Hawks $100,000 and required them to pay $150,000 to the Milwaukee Bucks in addition to two second round picks in the 1976 draft.
You sure he played for them? I've never heard this, and the stats don't show up on Basketball Reference.
It was preseason. Two games I believe? But, then he was forced back to the ABA.

How about... Shaq in a Raptors jersey?
When was this?
Yeah, what the hell is that? Does Shaq just show up for random photo shots to see how he’d look in everyone’s uniforms?
That was in mid-2008 based from my research in Google. By the way, that really looks terrible.
Remember that one time Hakeem Olajuwon tried on a Raptors jersey?

¡ Chicago Bulls Free Agent Bonanza Extravaganza !
LeBron James
Dwayne Wade
BONUS - Kobe Bryant
Odds are that one of those pictures won't be wrong, maybe wrong number, but not wrong uniform.

Derek Fisher is more out of place in a Warriors jersey than a Jazz jersey. At least Fisher did something in Utah.

I was Googling earlier this afternoon and found this prototype Phoenix Suns jersey from the early '70s. I am assuming that it was around the time they switched to their famous Western Font style. Does anyone have any info on it?
It also made me interested in finding other prototype jerseys in the Big Four. I am aware of the Nordiques and a Padres jersey from the '90s. Does anyone else have any they want to share here?

I can't find a photo of it, but Dale Murphy in a Phillies uni would be my pick.
I can't find a picture, but Murphy in a Rockies uniform is more rare than the Phillies.

David Ortiz Twins with wrong last name
Actually his real name is David Americo Ortiz Arias. When traded to the Twins from the Mariners Ortiz told management he preferred to go by David Ortiz instead of Arias.

Yeah, that doesn't help me either ... maybe a link to his Wiki page would help as well?
