Also played around with adding a crown if you all think this has any legs.

There is still some general clean up around the circle and maybe fiddling with the font and size that I want to do, but I wanted to share and was hoping for some comments and critiques on how I can make this better. Coloring and everything isn't final either. I wanted to base this loosely off of the Boston Celtics logo, and then when I get to uniform and court design I am going to try and keep it simple like them as well. I tried to keep the king crab logo fairly simple (stayed away from its horrendous mouth) but let me know what you think and what I can improve. Thanks for taking a look at this!

Thank you everyone for the responses, it has helped ease my mind. Yesterday I saw on twitter the new logo, and my immediate reaction was "that looks like what I made" and then started digging up my old posts and files. It is a weird, bittersweet feeling.

This reminded me very much of a design I posted to this site 11 years ago, don't know where else to go with this. Here's the side by side and overlay, no dimensions were changed just resized to match and the original post as well. Is there anything I can do with this?
