  1. I love those Miami uniforms, beautiful
  2. Trust me, Nike is capable of making uniforms that don't totally suck. For example, see Arizona's new uniforms. HUGE improvement over the 2009 uniforms. Instead of doing something crazy, Nike went in the opposite direction and did something much simpler. If the rumors of Miami wanting to return to the 80s Schnellenberger/Johnson style uniforms, then I get the feeling Nike won't screw it up. I sure hope so.
  3. I don't really trust Nike when it comes to their design skills.
  4. Not neccesarily. The new coach wants them (and they may have ordered them), but it takes time. Nike got Clemson the throwback pants Dabo wanted 2 seasons ago, but the jerseys didn't arrive before the season. I hope they do, though I wouldn't be surprised if it takes another season. I hope to God they don't mess them up. What would that be? Stupid, ugly, unnecessary piping. Look at what they did to Miami's Pro Combat's last year, completely hideous.

  6. Hate to tell you but the Jags aren't the ones moving to LA, and to be honest, I think it's downgrade. I can't even really see a Jaguar in this logo.
  7. Your concept is amazing. Other than the green facemask, I would love for them to go with that look.
  8. This is a great update, Can't wait to see the uniforms.
  9. There's the image from the NBA Store.
  10. best one so far, but keep going with the details. look at Davidson's and Tin Bacic's work (http://www.tinbacicdesign.com/) for inspiration and see how they bevel and detail their shapes. keep giving form to the shape if you want it to be a baseball you can do the stitching by making your own pattern brush. heres how you do it in Ai 1. start with a simple shape, a single stitch. "expand" and color it 2. copy and repeat the shape. use the "align" panel (horizontal distribute space) to make sure they are spaced evenly. 3. group and drag them all into the Brush pallete, it will be a pattern brush. choose the "approximate path" option 4. apply your new brush to any stroke Thank you so much for taking the the time to show me that. I'm very frustrated with it right now but I'm currently working on it because I know I'm heading in the right direction.
  11. I'm going to try and get some uniforms up.
  12. I'm not liking Miami much either. But maybe you could try and do something more original with Miami instead of doing the split color design like everyone else seems to do. There a lot of possibilities with them.
  13. Can I have a Hurricanes one 1440x900 with this logo
