  1. I was impressed by a couple of the rookies after the first weekend of Pre-season. Cam Newton for what he did a lot of in College looked better than most expected especially in the pocket. Jake Locker made that really good throw also after fumbling the snap keep his composure and throwing a bullet for a score. Now Andy Dalton on the other hand man bless that kids soul, being forced into a bad situation with the Bengals with not a lot at Wide out. It also doesn't help when you don't have a good offensive line or well anything. The 49ers... Enter Andrew Luck next year come on they're bad... Really bad so are the Seahawks it's gonna be Charlie Whitehurst's team and it's just not going to work out. But thats why they play preseason to see whos the best fit for every team
  2. That was a great race today. The road courses are undervalued on the schedule and personally I'd like to see maybe one or two more in there. Glad Ambrose won it, he really deserves it. Now everyones gonna view him like JPM as someone who can only sin on road courses and not ovals which sucks but it's critics. As for Boris V The Biff.... I feel like this one isn't going to last long kinda like Harvick and Kyle haven't done much since their run in at Darlington. If Boris gets to him then hopefully Biffle does get too hurt Boris is a big guy
  3. I think the pre-season poll is kinda pointless really. It's just all hype like writers with their power rankings a month before a season starts. But nonetheless, I like Oklahoma, they're bringing back some key guys and as poised to shine in that conference this year. I think UCF is an underrated team. They did loose a lot of starters on the defensive side of the ball, but George O'Leary has brought some good recruits and JUCO guys in that can jump in and fill needed voids, I think they'll win the C-USA again this year and possibly win another bowl game, they're and up and coming team.
  4. BK earns respect in my books for going out there and running hard on a track like Pocono with a broke ankle. It's a really tough track and to be driving hurt is one thing to win hurt is another and he showed us all he can run well and win at the cup level not just in fuel millage or a restrictor plate track with a last lap pass but normally also. Also on the Jimmie and Kurt fiasco, I like it, the sport needs to have some good "rivalries" and things to watch the rest of the season, just another one along with Kyle and Harvick which i personally don't think is finished
  5. I think with Carl staying at Roush-Fenway it really is going to open up things for some other free agent drivers. Bowyer in my opinion will stay with Childress, Montoya even though he may be reluctant to do it will stay with Ganassi, That basically leaves Brian Vickers as the guy who wants to run full time. Mark Martin only wants a partial schedule so he could go anywhere maybe a split with Danica at Stewart-Hass as Danica may run some cup races for them next year. Vickers is really interesting, he's got the talent if he's in the right stuff he's good to go. Could Gibbs look to go to a fourth car assuming they get sponsorship or do they give Logano the boot down to the Nationwide series for a few years and give Vickers the reigns of the 20 car. I think when its said and done Vickers is now the most interesting free agent
