  1. He was fine-to-mediocre, a C quarterback if you will. He's another name on the Browns' infinite QB jersey (after he played in SF), if that gives any context. It applies, especially when he spent his time in SF and as a Tom Brady backup.
  2. You see, I'd rank him below Harbaugh-era Alex Smith/Collin Kaepernick and Jimmy G.
  3. Ah, my mistake. Darnold. I get my backup QB's confused. Have they ever truly had one since Steve Young?
  4. Exactly, let Bradford start. Or don't trade Trey Lance. That was the #1 overall defense in the league and it's not like the first five weeks featured defenses of the same level.
  5. He got a massive concussion and the team rushed him back, hence the cognitive decline. It's a less heinous version of what happened to Tua last year.
  6. It seems that rushing a QB back from concussion protocol us a bad idea. Who’d have thunk it?
  7. They were also the most out-of-place member of an ancient division (Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs, and Raiders all going back to 1960) and royal/green teams just seemed generally invisible/infamously bad throughout the '70s-early '00s.
  8. I hate that the stripe widths are all over the place, as it really defeats the purpose of a consistent stripe pattern.
  9. Did you ever watch Steve James' Stevie? It's what I imagine a lot of downstate IL is like.
  10. He’s comparing Champaign, IL to Missouri.
  11. A Pontiac Lion sounds like a performance-oriented GM E body car.
  12. The StP produces a better insignia than TB, especially with the ray. Better visual balance?
  13. He's still spinning from somebody using his name to make generic supercars in Italy. It'll be a while before he can muster up the rage for separating the wordmark and EB marks out of a roundel.
  14. I'm gonna be sad when James Harden retires - his drama is one of the most entertaining parts of any NBA season. What happens once his ambition outstrips his abilities on the court?
  15. I want the Diamondbacks, mostly because an NL West team winning a title in spite of the Dodgers’ decade-long dominance of the division (only failing to win it once) is funny to me. It’s like how the Marlins won two titles (and the Mets won a pennant) during the Braves’ division title streak. Any outcome that puts more egg in the Dodgers’ faces is a good outcome.
  16. 100% this - when a member is so universally disliked and they clog up threads with their spam (and it is spam), it’s time to do something.
  17. You’re spamming in spite of everybody telling you that you’re wrong (very wrong) and begging you to shut up. Stop spamming.
  18. Or, just maybe, hold on against the Pirates? That was certainly more winnable.
  19. The 87 Twins did and won the whole thing. Go away.
  20. Phoenix proper or the whole metro area?
  21. Snaketober! Bochy vs a division rival should send a good message to the Giants org, I hope. Also, anybody who will whine about a six seed with a negative run differential winning the pennant, kindly escort yourself out.
  22. So, what about the 2018 Red Sox who did the same thing? Where's the vitriol for them? Either they both get punished or we have a double standard.
