  1. PLL announced playoff game venues. Quarterfinals at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA 9/2. Semifinals at Shuart Stadium in Long Island, NY 9/8. Championship Game at Subaru Park in Chester, PA 9/15.
  2. Many of the players have ditched the team branded compression sleeves that are paired with the sleeveless jerseys.
  3. Player Compensation Increases Announced For 2025 - Pro Volleyball Federation
  4. LOVB has been signing more players. https://www.lovb.com/news/bugg-daly-gneitling-herrera-and-miller-join-lovb https://www.lovb.com/news/adams-gray-and-hart-join-lovb SN: I forgot where I read it, but I saw somebody compare the PVF and LOVB websites. They said PVF's website looks like what you would expect from a sports league, while LOVB's website looks like a Lulu Lemon ad. I don't disagree
  5. I think at the very least the Dallas Wings will acknowledge the PVF. The others may depend on where the team actually plays it's home games, or if more established DFW sports figures join the ownership group.
  6. I have Hulu Live and tune into that channel way more than I thought I would during college football and basketball seasons
  7. I think CBS is a little bit more stable than Bally's and Stadium are
  8. We have our first PVF pregnancy. Congrats to Gina! Gina Mancuso-Prososki Announces Pregnancy - Pro Volleyball Federation
  9. Second time PVF has allowed navy vs black in a Grand Rapids/Columbus match.
  10. Guess the Woods are rebuilding
  11. Helluvan upgrade from games being on MSNBC. One of Beckham's kids is playing in it this year as well.
  12. From what I can tell PLL free agency has begun today. The Redwoods have lost a few key players. Sergio Perkovic and Jules Heninburg are going to Chaos. Garrett Epple is going to the Cannons. Meanwhile, Colin Heacock is going to the Whipsnakes.
  13. @The_Admiral With light blue already being Orlando's primary color, one could argue making pink the accent color paired with purple and white on the uniforms, while all the colors could remain in the logo. Would give them a nice middle range color in the unis, since the Supernovas shade of pink is closer to being red than a powdery pink.
  14. IIRC Bowie, Maryland was going to build an ice rink pre COVID. The pandemic may have played a part in axing those plans. Bowie is already home to an Orioles minor league club. Perhaps this could bring the project back to life
  15. Indy Ignite to play home games at Fishers Event Center https://indyignitevb.com/news/indy-ignite-makes-the-fishers-event-center-their-home-court/
  16. Perhaps PVF found out something bad about the networks close to the start of the season and decided to back out of the deal. I've heard a lot of talk about Bally's hanging on by a thread. Not sure about Stadium though.
  17. Looked at the league schedule and there are no more games listed for Bally/Stadium broadcast. Now that college basketball is beginning to wind down, I wonder if PVF games will start airing on CBS and/or CBS Sportsnet?
  18. I remember when there was an ECHL team that played at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro called the Chesapeake Icebreakers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chesapeake_Icebreakers
  19. Was watching the YouTube stream of the Omaha/Atlanta game. Somebody in the chat brought up inconsistent spacing between double digit numbers. I went down a mini rabbit whole of PVF game images. They weren't wrong. Number 11 for Omaha tonight had a huge gap between the ones on her jersey compared to the one and eight on De La Cruz' number 18 jersey, as well as number 10. Pretty much every double digit Vegas jersey had a wide space between the numbers in their last game. Does that bug anybody else? Don't really see it from major sports uniform suppliers these days. When I do see it though, it really grinds my gears.
  20. Las Vegas seemed like the oddest city for this league to be honest. From what I understand LV is not a major volleyball market compared to other cities currently not in PVF. I guess PVF saw a legit ownership group step forward in Vegas and brought them into the fold.
