  1. It was a five year licensing deal for the "Hickory" name and colors with the movie studio that created Hoosiers. I don't believe the uniform manufacturer comes into play with regards to that deal.
  2. I'm right there with you on this, but when they debuted back in 2015/2016 season it was reported that the Hickory uniform was a five year deal. Looks like a couple more years of those.
  3. Rumor is it will have something to do with racing.
  4. I hope you're right my friend. Anyway, I'm anxious to see what's in store.
  5. I really want the Pacers to have a unique uniform set from the rest of the league, but I really hope there are no pinstripes. And if they try to do something inspired by the Flo-Jo's, but with pinstripes? Ugh. Blending two different uniform sets does not seem to be a good idea.
  6. Don't be surprised if nothing comes out about the Pacers new uniforms until later in the evening.
  7. I don't post on here ever, but I lurk around these forums everyday. The local morning sports talk show here in Indy is hosted by the Pacers PA announcer. A few months ago he mentioned on his radio show that he had seen the Pacers new uniforms and that they look really nice. Around the same time this was mentioned on the radio show, I had heard from someone else who works for the team that the Pacers would have a new uniform design and a total of 5 uniforms for the upcoming season. The uniforms would consist of a white uni, blue uni, yellow alternate, hickory throwback and a "city" alternate as it was told to me. No design info was given to me, but I was skeptical at the time about the information in general, especially the "city" alternate. Now that Nike has said what each team will have, then this information sounds a little more legit to me.
  8. You are correct. Those are the jerseys for the inaugaural season in 1967. They are using those as their throwbacks this year because it's their 40th anniversary as a franchise. I like them a lot and might have to go get one of those.
  9. Actually, Nike can't get their hands on IU's uniforms for now, they have Adidas uniforms. And you can get the pants at the IU Varsity Shop.
