To be fair, it's not the first time that they've done it for an anniversary logo.

Montreal Canadiens - Heritage This throws back to the first time that the Canadiens wore a white jersey and as a result, the Habs are allowed by the league to play without nameplates while using these jerseys, much like how the Canucks 40th anniversary jerseys had no nameplates.

Philadelphia Flyers - Primary recolored I'm not sold on this shade of orange. I may keep the Flyers in the previous shade but keep the all-black collar and the orange nameplate.

And in any case, they've celebrated too many anniversaries in line with this being 100 for it to change now. They did their 50th in 1973-74, their 75th in 1998-99 and so on.

The fact that the only identifier on the jersey is a small logo on the collar is a big problem.

That is JUST the update that logo needed. Now bring back the eggplant and jade full-time and put that on the shoulders.
