Agreed. Contrast contrast contrast. As much as you can. Enforceable by law. No whiteouts, no blackouts. You got a cool colorway? Lemme see that ! 

Personal preference, green tops > orange tops for Miami. 

They’re also one of few teams that look better in modern aesthetics vs traditional.

Still not sure why Minnesota continues to water down a perfectly good colorway with all these unnecessary white elements. They were getting pretty close to something good with their last set.

Don’t get me wrong, simple monogram logos have their place in football. But the block I straight up looks like it belongs to some Generic Football Team in some insurance commercial.

I won’t argue that the Falcons made the look famous but Tech sported that black-black-silver combo many years prior, at least as far back as 1984. As for the RED Raiders complaint, the emphasis on black simply comes from the fact that it’s the other primary color which ties back to the former “Matadors” nickname. Perhaps most importantly it creates some visual separation from all the other schools that use red and black except Cincinnati…who’s now in the same conference…but even they’ve done a stellar job distinguishing themselves with Friz Quadrata and solid color blocking. Regardless, Tech does a fine job of highlighting red across all sports.

The best they’ve looked in years. Talk about an identity crisis. 

Missed opportunity to breathe new life into the brand. I get that simplification is the tempting, low hanging fruit these days but c’mon. It’s ok to be a little more creative than this.  

Shame. BYU v ND should usually look like a million bucks but instead we get this bush league matchup. 

And pardon my gatekeeping but if black isn’t in your primary color scheme, maybe don’t use it. It cheapens so many good uniforms that can stand on their own just fine.

Solid. The partial Tuffy logo works really well in this application. I also like that you inverted the helmet colors for NC State based on the jersey color. It’s one of those recurring features that I’ve come to permanently associate with them, Kentucky and Wazzu even if they’ve gone away from it.

Oh c’mon man this take is Facebook comments section level bad. You don’t genuinely believe Oregon players are having weekly team meetings to discuss their Saturday outfits. 

Those other programs have rich football pedigrees to fall back on so it makes sense that they keep things fairly traditional while programs like Oregon opt to mix things up a bit for their recruiting. I promise you football uniform design has zero correlation with football success, and more importantly I promise you that no team is spending any considerable amount of time worrying about it.

Wow that BOLD BLUE really pops doesn’t it?

It’s becoming annoyingly common for teams to revert to a previous look whilst completely botching one of the design elements. In this case, the omission of contrasting collars. A minor gripe I know but also a lack of attention to detail. 

And that greenish helmet should be their permanent helmet.

This feels so lateral to the point of being pointless.  But I’ll settle for anything that isn’t over-designed trash. 

Simplify if you must but it would be a great waste to ditch the racing stripes instead of owning them. 

An original take, I dig it! Though it is odd to see the 3 striped socks reappear here. It just seems so synonymous with their look even though they don’t and have never actually matched any other part of the uniform. 

Pretty much close to perfect. Though I’m not into the colored collars on the away and alt sets, that feels like more of a Bengals thing. 

I like the NFL 100 logo.

This one hurts to admit but you're right. Every concept that adds black misses the point entirely.

Edit: I think that if you get invited to a community like dribbble, you should respect the game and post your own ideas instead of piggybacking off something you found on the internet.
