The Patriots posted this picture of a player with what I believe are photoshopped socks. They look good.

It looks like SoFi Stadium hasn't used full endzones all year, opting instead to have the green turf outline a-la the Rose Bowl. I would guess they do that for the Super Bowl, too. http://gridiron-uniforms.com/fields/images/playoffs/2021/r1024/LAR_2021%5Econf.png

Providence is bringing back the throwbacks. They wore the white ones against Seton Hall at home on Wednesday. The Friars went undefeated in the black throwbacks in 2019-20.

Speaking of red pants, I always thought the Pats old uniforms looked really good with them. I wonder how the current road uniforms would look with red instead of blue pants.

If they wanted a black alternate, just take the green jersey and make it black. You could add the script to that for all I care if you really wanted to. At least they'd still look like the Devils.

As far as I can tell, this picture of Tom Brady hasn't been posted: That's from 2017. Color Rush TNF at Tampa. I'll add Bruce Armstrong, who played for the Pats for 14 seasons. The last one was in 2000, the first year of the Brady-era uniforms. -
Double-outlines look really good when used properly.

I'm actually really coming around on the alternate. If they're going to change things up, using that uniform and creating a white version for the road look would work for me. And a yellow alternate based on the reverse retros, please.

Ja'Whaun Bentley for the Pats has been wearing black leggings as his socks recently. Never seen a guy wear a non-team color before. They've really abandoned enforcing any kind of sock rules.

I actually kinda liked those pants stripes for Jacksonville. Nontraditional, but I thought they worked well. Certainly a step up over the de facto plain pants they have now.

Can we just like take the average of the last Jags' set and the current one and call it a day? One is too complicated, the other too simple. Find the middle ground, please.

White striped socks will always look good with a white jersey if the stripes match.

A lot of Pats players are wearing white socks this year and it makes the road uniform look a ton better.

Are we still doing the best and worst uniforms of the week threads? I haven't seen them recently but I always liked them.

If they're still fining people for socks, that's news to me. Here's Kyle Van Noy wearing New England's signature blue socks with red bottoms, for instance.

The ESPN graphics for this game have the Chargers with a blue facemask for some reason.

That Eagles helmet actually looks pretty good. A midnight green and silver identity could look pretty good on them.

I'd love to see the Eagles add a pair of midnight green socks to their uniform. I'm at least curious about how that would look.

I can't say these are better than the current uniforms, but I can't say they're worse, either. A lateral move from one excellent set to another. I wonder if the success of the RR jerseys has something to do with this, since they're based on the same template.
