  1. I would love to see you do an update on the classic Louisville dunking cardinal.
  2. MLB Realignment: AL East: New York Yankees Boston Red Sox Toronto Blue Jays Baltimore Orioles Cleveland Indians AL Central: Chicago White Sox Indianapolis Speed (Tampa Bay Rays relocation) Kansas City Royals Detroit Tigers Minnesota Twins AL West: LA Angels of Anaheim San Jose A's (Moved from Oakland) Seattle Mariners Texas Rangers Houston Astros NL East: New York Mets Philadelphia Phillies Miami Marlins Atlanta Braves Washington Nationals NL Central: Cincinnati Reds St.Louis Cardinals Chicago Cubs Pittsburgh Pirates Milwaukee Brewers NL West: LA Dodgers San Fran Giants Arizona D-Backs San Diego Padres Colorado Rockies In my opinion, the Tampa Bay Rays will relocate to Indianapolis in the future to become the Indianapolis Speed. With the relocation, Indy and Cleveland agree to swap divisions with the Speed in the AL Central and the Tribe in the AL East. Also the A's successfully move out of Oakland and into San Jose with intense politically-charged talks against the Giants.
  3. I don't like the Chihuahuas name very much but it is not due to racism. It's just too immature and it doesn't reflect the state of Texas very well. I really don't know why they didn't considered calling them the Aggies, Ranchers, or Stampede. All those names are far more aggressive, more professional, and easier to identify with Texans than the Chihuahuas. Desert Gators and Sun Dogs are just too generic for me and they don't bring any local pride. The logos though are very nice and solid looking.
  4. 5 more days 'till Cardinal Football!

  5. Louisville just received their National Title rings.
  6. Louisville has now unveiled their back to back Big East Football Championship rings today.
  7. I just don't get why members hate those jerseys so much. The problem with it is the pants that were assigned to the uniform. If the pants were like the jersey, this would be a great look.
  8. Bump. Catholic 7 hopes to split from the Big East in 2014. http://espn.go.com/c...014-source-says
  9. I wholeheartedly agree as well. This is a massive upgrade over the previous logo because it has dimension and simply put, it just looks like a Jaguar compared to the old logo.
  10. Bumping the thread; I don't know why people are so negative to the name change because personally, I love the name. Sadly, the logos also have a bad rap as well. The Pelicans logo sest are some of the best in the 4 Major Professional Leagues of North America and they just scream New Orleans. These two logos are my favorites from the identity.
  11. Amen man. AMEN. I reported one his posts today too. Hopefully that will fix the problem. Amen as well.
  12. Teddy Bridgewater for Heisman 2013!

  13. Here's a really interesting article discussing the Big East's future. http://ajerseyguy.com/?p=4584#more-4584
  14. That will be the move that will put the final nail in the BE's coffin. Boise did the right thing by staying and the move put the MWC into the position where the BE used to stand in. How so? In 2013, the BE will still have an AQ spot in the BCS meanwhile the MWC will not. In 2014, once the BCS is done and the playoff system is in place both the BE and MWC will be on equal footing in terms of opportunity to get into the "Access Bowls". Also, each will most likely have the same amount of annual TV revenue. SDSU can leave, or rather not join, without paying an exit fee due to no teams west of the Rocky Mountains now with Boise State staying put. Apparently SMU and Houston are on the target list of the Mountain West, too. And Navy is evidently wavering on whether to join the Big East or not as well. McCall made a good point, SDSU can leave at any time and not have to pay the exit fees. Also SMU and Houston can stay at C-USA and go to the MWC. That's why I think this move would end the BE.

  16. I hope FSU doesn't do the same thing West Virginia did. When WVU moved to the Big XII, they struggled mighty. FSU should do the smart thing and stay in the ACC.
  17. read again I mean, the first thing I wrote is. "Even if making them stay in the ACC means their football death?" Not being rude, but why would Florida State leave the ACC?
  18. Boise State discussing talks to stay in the Mountain West. http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/8771286/boise-state-broncos-discussing-staying-mountain-west-snubbing-big-east That may actually be a good move if they do. They could make the MWC the best at-large conference.
  19. First things first, why would Louisville and Southern Mississippi go to the Big XII? Louisville already has a commitment to the ACC and So. Miss should stay at C-USA. Secondly, The ACC wouldn't lose any teams to realignment just yet. Finally, Notre Dame would never join a conference. All criticism aside, there might be a few changes to be made and it would look plausible.
  20. RIP Big East Conference. Thanks for all the great and not so great memories like the 7-OT game between UConn-Syracuse in the BE Tournament and Louisville-Rutgers match ups of 2006 and 2012.
  21. That is an insanely good conference right there. I don't think we have the same idea of what an "insanely good conference" is. Xavier, Creighton, Butler, and Georgetown in the same conference is really good. All the other teams are solid additions as well.
  22. That is an insanely good conference right there. Back to the Mountain West. A tidy 12-team MWC with 2 divisions. Mountain Air Force, Boise State, Colorado State, New Mexico, Utah State, Wyoming Coastal Fresno State, Hawaii, Nevada, San Diego State, San Jose State, UNLV That is how I predict the MWC would be.
