  1. And you know that how?Polls, radio shows ect. Ect. I can back him up on this one. The reactions to the new uniforms have been overwhelmingly positive among Browns fans. Seems that both the old school fans and the younger generation both are happy with the change. The only negative reaction was to the "new" logo. Most wanted to see an actual logo, and not an illustration of a piece of equipment. Co-signed. I work with a couple guys who constantly talk to "the old Browns" and "the way things used to be" and bla bla bla that same stuff I hear every day in this City. They like the uniforms. They didn't think the Browns needed a change, but they liked the update. One of the guys 50+ even said the wordmark on the pants was the best in the NFL. So, just like anything in life... take it for what its worth. I don't doubt that many, and probably even most, Browns fans have convinced themselves to like this uniform. Just the fact that your favorite team is updating, is being talked about, is seemingly moving forward at least in one regard... it's exciting. Plus, it's your team. It's the same way that the average fan grades their team's draft... optimism is always the order of the day for a fan. I recently went back to look at my first posts on this site, back in '06 when the Vikings went to their reebokian look. It's right there in black and white... I wholeheartedly approved. I looked at the images of Brad Johnson wearing that '06 uniform, came onto this site, and wrote the word "upgrade". And I believed it. But it wasn't long until the bloom started to fade, the excitement of the internet discussions disappeared, and I was left just staring at that uniform. For years. Take that poll again next year... and again the year after that. Even the homer opinion is going to change fairly soon... I have no doubt. That seems like wishful thinking on your behalf. You may be right, but I'll believe it when I see it. You have to at least take into consideration that a good amount of fans may actually like the new look and may possibly still like it in the future. Well, no, I don't. That was the whole point of my comment. I understand that a good amount of Browns fans are currently excited about the idea that their team has new uniforms. And that excitement has, for now, overridden objectivity. For most of them, it'll pass. You can't predict the future. As I stated for the most part the majority of Browns fans like the change. If they win they will embrace it more.

  4. What it comes down too is it all boils down to what Browns Fans think! And the majority likes them. As for the rest, who cares!
  5. What do you mean "Most fans love the new uniforms"? How do you know that? It's been less than 24 hours. He knows that because he's cool and hip, so all cool and hip people think like him. Also, Cleveland is apparently now cool and hip. Wow! Your post reminded me of this!!!https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ljUnyv5XUA8 Well no I'm 41 years old and not even close to hip. And I don't live in Cleveland. I belong to a Browns Message board and there is a poll. Over 75% either love them or like them. With over 4000 voting. Which is about .005 percent of all Browns fans. Also, you're 41? No offense, but I figured you were about 15. Again, no offense, but your posts seem more like what the teenagers around here post. I am actually pretty immature. I get it. I like making fun of people that take themselves way to serious. Which is about 90% on this board. You people act like your opinion matters. Except for the handful of you that are actual designers your all a bunch of wannabes and it's quite pathetic. Analyzing and scrutinizing every little detail of a logo is lame. In reality it doesnt mean anything unless your a fan of the team or the actual designer. So go on Mr. important with your big bad self, insulting othe people's work and opinions. Oh if you do happen to be a designer and post on this website it makes you even more lame. Find another hobby, DUDE!!!!! Sorry just the 15 year old in me.
  6. Well, the new look isn't exactly Bucs level terrible so it's not surprising that "civilians" like it better than do the people of this community. FWIW, you should just stand behind your opinion. There's really no need to bring in outside sources because you think it will validate your opinion or validate a post you made a few days ago. We're all capable of going to other websites. And anything you post to support your opinion is not going to change the opinions of people who disagree with you. True. But what it really comes down to is if Browns fans like them. Main reason is they are the ones who will be buying the jerseys and watching the team. That's the reason people are posting Cleveland Fan polls. Soooo much better.Disagree but to each there own.

  8. They wore monochrome Brown the past two seasons. And this version of monochrome Brown is much, much, much better. And the only reason they ditched the Orange numbers on Brown jersey is because it did not show up well on television. Now with HD television and great reception it should not be an issue. The team television and lighting tests. The Orange numbers look great in my opinion. The Cleveland on jersey and Browns on pants a well received by fans.
  9. No need to apologize most fans love the new uniforms. Now get off my lawn!!
  10. As a Browns fan I like them. And I like the pants.
  11. Take aways from the Browns message board I belong to. Mostly positive reviews O/W/W and O/O/O most popular. Majority likes Beowns on the pants.

  13. I don't think that's true. I think Packer and Raider fans will be very satisfied with the changes their teams will make to their uniforms this year. And I'm sure there is a portion of the fanbase that wants something new, fun, and modern. Its never going to be cut and dry, especially when it comes to something like uniforms. Maybe, but it's pretty small. To me, it's not a matter of new vs. old, it's a matter of good vs bad (which is, of course a matter of opinion, I know). If a uniform is good, don't change it. If it's bad, do change it. That's it. So, to me, the recent updates in Buffalo, Minnesota, and San Francisco were good, not because the new uniforms are perfect, but because the uniforms they replaced were bad. The recent change in Tampa is a disaster because the flipped one of the best uniforms in the NFL into the worst. And Seattle, Jacksonville, and Miami, traded bad for bad, IMO. I just don't want to see a team dump a good uniform just to "spice things up" or "kick start a new era"... That's moronic. Why do you think most Browns fans did not want a change. I believe it's split 50/50.They changed it because there uniforms were dated. You may have felt they were great and that's fine. But a lot of people welcomed a change. There's probably Yankees fans who want new uniforms. Doesn't make it a good idea,Again that's Your opinion. But there are ones who wanted the change.
