  1. I just picked up a 2020 XFL Houston Roughnecks ‘47 cap and Seattle Dragons t-shirt, both new w/o tags, for a total of $11 from a local thrift store. It looked like they got a bunch of dead stock, because they had shirts for most of the teams, as well as a handful of caps, most of them NWT. I almost snagged a LA Wildcats cap with the alternate logo, but I didn’t want another black cap in my arsenal.
  2. Knockoff Pants is my new band name.
  3. The Oregon Black Bears just launched their website (https://oregonblackbears.com) and it looks like we have “official” dates for home games. Interestingly, but not surprisingly, the schedule does not match the mass schedule release the league provided in November.
  4. I’m not sure if I can link a Facebook post here, but the Oregon Black Bears have released their ticket prices and seating map. Those endzones… https://www.facebook.com/share/yVmaiRPyR9FREy27/?mibextid=K8Wfd2
  5. I find it just as odd. And as for the Florida IG account, the commissioner’s account follows them. I wonder if it was a placeholder if one of the other Florida franchises didn’t move to the AFL…
  6. The Oregon Black Bears (Blackbears? There’s no consensus) shared the same thing on their Facebook page. Also, has anyone heard anything about the Florida Cyclones? https://www.instagram.com/floridacyclones?igsh=ZWI2YzEzYmMxYg==
  7. That bottom image is not an official MLB image. The colors don’t match up correctly, and I’m pretty sure may have come from one of @SFGiants58‘s rebrand/relocation concept threads.
  8. Is there a picture of Gretzky with this dark blue and silver jersey? I only remember pictures of him at the press conference with the white/silver/black jersey.
  9. I know my eyes are old, but, is the R in YORK structured differently than the two R’s in RANGERS? It looks like the open portion is smaller in YORK.
  10. The Blazers’ court should have been plaid. I mean, the organization is run by a bunch of Spaceballs anyway.
  11. That’s been my hunch once it was suggested that the courts were going to be special for the tournament. Aaaaand nevermind. I can only wish it were LED courts
  12. I can’t recall… Did anyone here ever say that the Leafs BFBS was an acronym for Bieber for Bieber’s Sake?
  13. It could be subway walls, but I immediately got MSG roof tile vibes…
  14. Seriously, this league needs to hire a legit press firm, rather than someone from the local high school.
  15. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHABAHABABBAAB I just saw the story posted on the KGW.com website. I will pull a Chris Russo and retire from the boards if this team actually takes the field. There is no way this is actually happening.
  16. That Wizards look is giving off some 2018/19 Trail Blazers City Edition vibes…
  17. Yeah, it’s actually a little distracting. I don’t know if it’s a Nike fabric change, new lighting at MetLife, or new NBC equipment.
  18. Well, I was today years old when I learned the Seattle Metropolitans name (or logo or both) isn’t owned by the NHL. Does anyone have the history on that?
  19. Lifelong TP fan here, and I caught it immediately. To be fair, I remember when that song was brand new, so, I’m old Also, “what notable impact Indiana has had on pop culture”? Um, David Letterman is still very much alive…
  20. Hello! Lifelong Salem resident here… The Salem Armory is not the biggest arena in Salem, and it barely fits the Salem Capitals of The Basketball League. That building only has seats on three sides, with a stage across from the main seating area. The Armory sits adjacent to the Oregon State Fair Expo Center, which houses The Pavilion, a facility with a floor plan that can accommodate an AFL field. The ceiling is so low, however, that I think kickoffs and FG attempts would be a concern. Beyond having a functional facility, there is nobody in Salem stepping up and announcing they are bringing in a team. My first guess would be Eugene, second Portland. At the end of the day, the list of cities getting franchises looks about a realistic as some of the concept league lists we see on the boards here.
  21. That is a delightful and appropriate way to describe him. His twitter feed is so disjointed, it only makes sense when you read his tweets in Trump’s voice.
  22. Yep, that’s in addition to the Raptors and 1994 FIBA championship logos posted above. Turd O’Gravy is so stuck on what he’s done in the past, along with a cloying “don’t you know who I am?” attitude, it’s left a sour taste in mouth for most of these logos.
  23. Ben Stiller is Michael Richards as Stanley Spadowski in “TRIPUKA”
  24. I think the hats are where they missed an opportunity. For how many years were we told the upside-down trident-M is bad luck? And then they flip them and cross them inside the collar, complete with a story for what the W’s stand for. They should have put the flipped trident-W on the hat. I can’t un-see it now.
