  1. Beautiful. I love Habs jersey no matter which ones they wear.
  2. And because the top one has the Stars primary logo on the shoulder. If you already have the primary logo on the chest, having it on the shoulder as well would be kind of redundant. Haha. I missed the most obvious clue!
  3. Wait...so one of those is the alternate? I noticed that they have different shoulder logos. Which is which? I think the top one is the alternate because of the numbers and lettering (it's darker).
  4. I really like the Lightning's Alt. They might be my favorite "modern" ones. I like the script. I'd much prefer "Lightning" to "Bolts" though. I can't believe I thought this team would win their division. The Kings alt is much worse than I thought it would be. I initially liked the leaked photo but I really didn't like them in action (the logo is terrible).
  5. NO!!!!!!!!! In NFL 2k5, it was impossible to pass, and 70% it freezes in dynasty mode! I hated it! ESPN NFL 2K5 was the last football game that I enjoyed playing. I really don't like Madden.
  6. I love it. Although I am a bit sick of the black. I'll excuse the Kings though.
  7. Probably the best synopsis I've read on this subject. Bravo. This also makes me very glad to be a Devils fan. They've had the same jersey for basically my whole life and they're not planning on ever changing. I think Lou actually said something along the lines of that the day the Devils get a third jersey will be the day they start putting players names on the front.
  8. Meh. I've had enough with the black third jerseys. I'd much rather prefer it if there was more orange and teal. Also some hemline stripes would be nice. So far it's the weakest of the new thirds. I still can't really judge it though.
  9. I don't really hate anyone on my favorite teams. Devils I don't really like Colin White or David Clarkson (mainly because Sutter feels the need to play him 13 minutes a game when Bergfors gets 2-4) but I don't hate them. Mets I guess I don't like the Mets bullpen
  10. Smith only played 43 odd games for the Stars. Holy hell people are dumb down there. Langs wasn't a backup goalie, and played more than 43 odd games over two seasons. Next thing I'll be hearing is that Roman Turek is considered a god. We like a hockey player and we are dumb? You would think we were the fans who support a team who hasn't had a sniff of the cup in 40 years. And yet he makes fun of the Sens for not winning a cup in 16 or so years. He and Senators fans are in the same boat really, having never watched their team win the Cup. I think it makes sense that the Stars fans really liked Smth for the time he was there and wish to see him do well in Tampa.
  11. As this board's only Lowell Devils season ticket holder, I can tell you that the Lowell Devils are already much better than they were last year. A lot of the dead weight was released, and the goaltending prospects are much better than the previous 2 seasons. Lowell's goaltending tandem currently is Scott Clemmensen (just got recalled) and Dave Caruso. The team also has a few more goal scoring prospects in Nicklas Bergfors (called up), Vladimir Zharkov and Jon DiSalvatore. Fear not Devils fans. The future is not that bleak. Also Alexander Vasyunov so I'm excited about that. How's Mike Swift doing? Do you think he'll ever make it to the NHL? Also the Devils' injuries are ridiculous! Rolston, Holik, Greene, Martin, and now Brodeur. Exactly I mean whats going on there, is there some sorta bug or something. You never see this many key injuries early to the same team. I hope Martin's not out for a long time. I mean I was optimistic until Brodeur's "bruise" turned into 3-4 months. Hopefully things will improve when these guys return though.

  13. That second link, shows this Someone messed up with the "1987" logo as thats the 1998 logo! Pepsi had such a great script in 1950 that curved perfectly with the White part of the 1962 bottle cap. Why not just bring that script back and put it in the circle, like the inexplicably straight type is in 1971? Why would they fill a curved space with flat type in the first place? And then, why change the curved area into a smile? There was such a better solution, but then again, maybe this will catch on with consumers. Maybe it's because I grew up with it, but the 1971 logo is my favorite. Everything has been a change, but not an improvement. I wasn't even alive in the 70s but I completely agree with you. I actually really like the 1971 logo. It's modern enough and classic enough to be different from Coke.
  14. I didn't like them originally but they've grown on me (like most Edge jerseys).
