  1. Well, well...Weeden may not totally botch this after all.
  2. Another strong performance from the Boys. They are playing with a massive chip on their shoulders and I just hope they keep that mentality going. Is it too soon to say they are back?
  3. Murray went for 100 yds again today. First player in NFL history to do that in the first 7 games in a row. He has been a Godsend this year. I just hope he can stay healthy.
  4. I don't know man. This team seems like they figured out what works. It will be interesting when teams put 8 in the box and force Romo to beat them.Except the Seahawks loaded the box consistently against the Cowboys AND on Murray's TD run to clinch it Seattle had 9 guys in the box. The Cowboys are proving over and over again that it doesn't matter if the opposing teams stacked the box, they're going to run it down their throat. This win was outstanding. We dominated the Super Bowl champions in Seattle. No single player had rushed for over 38 yards against this Seahawks team, we had TWO guys who did that. Plus, Murray had over 100 yards again! I'm just over the moon right now. I did not expect this today, I'm shocked lol. They did? Oh...well alright then. I was only able to catch certain parts of the game at work so I didn't know. That being the case they should be a tough out the rest of the season, as long as they aren't shooting themselves like today. That much is forever uncertain with these Cowboys.

  6. Holy crap...they...they won! Cowboys are 5-1 and beat a team they were supposed to get crushed by. That's awesome.
  7. Yeah they do love shooting themselves in the foot, but they are rolling right now so there is hope.
  8. Back to back errors at that. Sigh.Edit: What a throw and catch by Romo and Williams. That was pretty.
  9. I don't care if Dallas punks them or not, but a win would be quite nice.
  10. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good right?I just want to give some love to Demarco Murray. Third player to start the season with 5 straight 100 yd games. The other 2? OJ and Jim Brown. That's kinda awesome.
  11. It's a fair point, but I don't know if I could bring myself to actually wanting them to lose in hopes of getting rid of Garrett. I'd rather win and let him sit on that sideline. They may not have to lose for him to get canned, seeing as Jerry got rid of Jimmy after winning the freaking Super Bowl.
  12. The Boys scored again. They came to play tonight and I couldn't be happier. Edit: They won! Please football Jesus, please let them play like that the rest of the year. Amen.
  13. I don't know who these guys are masquerading as the Cowboys, but I like them. Keep them around for the season please.
  14. What happened to him? He had so much promise but this year, so far, hasn't been kind to him.
  15. So are the blue jerseys to blame for the slow start? This schtick is getting old. The Cowboys started slow because they played like crap, not because of the blue jersey curse. That bad start was partially due to the play of the Rams and partially because of bad choices by the offense. When you couple that with a bad defense, you're down 21-0. What he said. In addition, if there really were a curse, they would've lost that game instead of just sucking for a little bit.I will say that I haven't seen them wear it in back to back games before. That seems unusual. I'd love to see them more often because that white set is awful.
  16. Cowboys showed some resolve today. It was a horrible start but they came back. I'll take it.
  17. The Cowboys really love toying with my emotions. I'm hoping they can just leave me in a happy mood today. 2 minutes guys, 2 minutes.
  18. The sad part is that with all the guys possibly getting the axe for off the field stuff, Tillman is one of the good guys. Sucks that it might be over for him.
  19. I hate being at work when the Boys are on. Glad Murray is off to a great start this year. He is the bright spot for them this year.
  20. I don't know how to feel about the AP situation at all. As a kid I was whopped with switches (that most times I had to pull off the tree myself), belts, once with a hot wheels track, and extension cords. As a teen, then as an adult, I think back to those times before I do something stupid and I'm better for it. I have had marks from it, though I never bled. At the same time I wish they had known a different way to go about disciplining. My parents are just from a different era, but they have come down from that as they got older. I have spanked my child, but I only ever used an open palm. Sometimes it's just necessary. I think AP was just doing what he knew to be discipline and didn't know his own strength. That's what I got from his texts that were released. After the fact he realized he may have gone overboard, but still felt he did what was expected of him as a father. Maybe now he will learn that the old ways aren't exactly the right ways, and he will find seek out better ways to get the job done.
  21. Part of me feels like Schaub has had a pretty enormous fall from grace, when the truth is that he really wasn't all that good to begin with. It's amazing what one good game as a backup can do for a guy ain't it? I mean Matt Flynn stole money on that very idea. However, like all unusual events, eventually the normal order is restored. Flynn is back in Green Bay holding Rodgers' clipboard, and Schaub will be doing the same for Carr. Oh, Matt Flynn. What a gig. He set a few single-game records for one of the oldest franchises in football, got at least $9 million to not play in Seattle, and has barely played since, netting respectable contracts along the way. Now he's back in Green Bay, making 7 figures, and playing behind Favre 2.0. He's gonna retire in a few years to bang his smoking-hot wife and laugh at the total lack of injuries that he netted in his NFL tenure. That man is the f***ing Ferris Bueller of the backup QB fraternity. Legend. All hail Matt Flynn.

  23. It looks really sleek and clean. It also looks huge. Very futuristic. I will say that it's getting harder to tell what is practical and what is digital graphics on that set.
