  1. Well, red vs red. I sure hate these same color or these type of match ups like this.
  2. Not athletic gold, mustard gold. The mustard gold they have on right now. The Ravens can benefit off that while Minnesota can be the purple helmets, purple jerseys, white pants, and whatever socks team so that the Ravens can be a dark purple, dark purple, mustard gold, and dark purple scheme. Look at the Rams and Chargers. The Rams have a different shade of gold (God forbid their highlighter yellow colors which is nasty) and the Chargers have a different shade of blue (UCLA blue).
  3. I do not think you saw how I said it. Ravens: Dark purple helmet, dark purple jerseys, mustard gold pants, and purple socks!
  4. Exactly, but on the other end, you can't explain that to ones who do not see the visual different and just go by words only.
  5. That was 1998, when Starter got it right! Then 2002 went down the drain with the tuck rule garbage and trying to make the jerseys less streetwear on the field which was silly in my opinion.
  6. The same green from the 1978-1997 helmets, but they did the coating similar to the Houston Texans did to their cardinal red helmets (I noticed that the Texans red is slightly darker than the regular red) albeit they wanted the gloss to have a shiny feel to it which is why it looks dark when in a different angle.
  7. HOORAY FOR THE GASTINEAU ERA UNIFORMS!!! I LOVE THE 1978-1989 LOOK!!!
  8. Wishful thinking, but the Seahawks are still staying with their navy blue, action green, and doggie grey, along with the silly patterns they use for their silly uniforms. Now granted, I wish this was true, but if they were to make a new uniform that is sort of similar to the throwbacks, they would keep action green and never ditch action green at all. Hell, they would even make an action green alt of the new uniforms right away. Now, I do believe they are keeping the throwbacks, but they need to wear them when they play the AFC West when they get around playing the AFC West. But yeah. As for Denver, I probably want them to use academy blue again since that blue brought the best with the orange they used.
  9. I guess they thought they needed a little more blue into their uniforms. To me, this look was very awkward or they were trying to fit with then uniform changes that the Eagles, 49ers, Broncos, Bucs, Cowboys (their road navy jerseys), and some teams that tweak their look in the mid to late 1990's, but to be honest, that look would of been better if the helmet was white, but that will never happen. So it was basically very awkward and top heavy to say at least.
  10. Anything new about the steroid stallion in Denver?
  11. 'This goes to show that Rebook, Nike, and or whatever company that did the Lion's uniforms have no idea what Honolulu Blue really is.
  12. Why so shock? I was not even focused on that aspect of Colorado. I never been there and want to go there. I only been to San Diego, Miami, Kansas City, Dallas, Japan, Tucson, and Phoenix, and I knew their traits. I had forgotten Colorado's because I never focused on that aspect.
  13. Also to add on top on this, I like to see seal brown jerseys of this combo. It looks very nice. The all white is my favorite because they white uniforms have the orange shadow block similar to the 49ers 1955 uniforms. I like to see this version of the seal brown with white block numbers. If they did a false default, they could bring in brown pants with this combo with just the orange/white/orange stripe with the white helmet and BOOM, Cleveland would look great.
  14. Ok, I guess you are right. Anaheim. I just do not like Anaheim because I had a bad experience there when I was in my early 20's visiting. I witnessed something bad and I got threatened, so yeah.
  15. I had forgotten about that. Oh..... Well, this 5,280 stuff is great knowledge, but why put it on a jersey if it does not make sense to anything? Ehhhhhh, nope, sorry!
  16. What does the 5280 suppose to me to them?
  17. So that means the Angels went back to their roots, the Los Angeles Angels, it goes full circle!
  18. Sure, yes. But remember, they did start out in Los Angeles for that 5-year stint. So, I am going to go by that. It's different with the NFL Chargers because they only stayed a year there and no one in L.A. wanted them (reasons why they moved to San Diego which was fitting for them big time).
  19. Here is what I am going to say. They started out in Los Angeles, right? So why call them Anaheim when they were not there that long. They were only there because they had a new stadium out there. I do not care what you say to me, but in my eyes, they are STILL the Los Angeles Angels in the American League int he MLB.
  20. I sound reverse from the Cleveland Browns having white helmets, but honestly it works for Cleveland because they have a darker jerseys like seal brown. Denver Broncos however, NO!!! If they go back to academy blue as an accent color and use white helmets to make the orange look good, NOPE!!! NO!!! Hell to the no!!! White helmets do not look great with the default color being orange and the accent color being academy blue. Sure, it works with Tampa Bay because the red was the darker color to the orange juice orange that Tampa Bay used. BUT, if they stay with navy blue, then it's already a god awful trainwreck of a uniform because the third color will be navy and then white helmets with navy jerseys and white pants will just be the Cowboys 1960-1963 fauxbacks all over again, but with orange as an accent color for the navy alts. Oh god, I can see it now.
  21. Oh no. White helmets?!!! Oh no, not good!
