  1. Well folks, no more Stars, Generals, and Breakers! And the Maulers was good while it lasted. Oh well, we got this new league. I wish they use the AR on Arlington Renegades.
  2. We will never get to see the proper 49ers helmet from that generation. 1946 graced both the Browns and 49ers.
  3. Basically that is where the legging style came from in 2012. Came straight from the NBA. I wonder who suggested this to players and they started to utilize it a lot.
  4. Ok, so what is a quality uniform to you? I already posted my feelings about the Rams new unis. They do need a hard reboot when it comes to looks. If they wanted a bone or alt uniform, why not harken back to the Fearsome Foursome as an alt uniform and the other alt being the 1950-1957 athletic gold jerseys. But just what is your idea of a quality uniform? Just your thoughts.
  5. The orange helmets with that stripe pattern would go well with the orange helmets because then you can have a blue alt jersey for the orange helmets to be honest. I am not saying otherwise about the 1968-1996 blue helmets, but they never explored the orange helmets as much only in 1994 during the 75th season.
  6. I understand, but I just saying. I am not discouraging anyone else. But to be very frank, I am not a fan of a few copycat styles to be honest. But ok, if they went back to the academy blue color, then it would work, otherwise it is just the stripe templates that are sort of close and similar with just a different color with Tampa being red and Syracuse being navy blue. I just don't see Denver wearing white helmet.
  7. Well that works for them. And even with their orange jerseys, they do have orange helmets. But to me the white lids and orange helmets would always make me identify them as Tampa Bay Buccaneers, University of Tennessee Volunteers, University of Texas Longhorns, Oklahoma State University Cowboys, among others who wear white helmets and orange jerseys paired with white pants.
  8. Anyone who disliked my comment can see the similarities to these two uniforms. The white pants do not make this uniform unique at all. Here, take a look Only difference is that they throwbacks do not use the same orange, but design wise it is TOO SIMILAR TO EACH OTHER! A no go for me if Denver decides to do the Syracuse style.
  9. Looks kind of like a copper shade type.
  10. They look like the Buccaneers, but with navy blue instead of red and the facemask being white instead of orange. HAHAHAHA! What a joke.
  11. Exactly. The highlighter yellow just makes it look much dingier and too neon 90's. The bone jerseys were an excuse to add grey in the color scheme that was not even needed at all. I never loved the color grey when it was put in with distinct color combos because adding grey to a green and golden yellow color scheme does not make sense or grey added with red and golden yellow as well would make it look off place. So why would they think bone looks good with blue and golden yellow? And yes, it does mud up the yellow and white big time. This is why I think Kevin and Nike were moonlighting in Oregon when they were making the uniforms.
  12. I am starting to be annoyed of it too. I feel like saying something to their Twitter account, but I risk being deleted from Twitter.
  13. Beautiful, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY, WHY THE "ICY" SOCKS CRAP?!!! CAN'T THEY WEAR BLACK SOCKS WITH white/gold/white/gold/white STRIPES!!!
  14. Oh, that... I am tired of those bone pants. Why not just white with the blue and highlighter yellow stripes. I guess the Rams president forgot to give his dog a bone!!!
  15. Because you like the Fearsome Foursome look, right? The one that looks almost close to the Colts 1954 look just with different stripe patterns (this is before the Colts went with white helmets).
  16. How about this from @daveindc My only gripe is the white helmets should be red, and also the point to where I believe the longhorn logo is finished and they need a new logo that looks better. Also how the stripes follow up similar to Seattle's god awful stripes.
  17. Because people have the Cincinnati vs Cleveland effect. Since both have nearly similar colors albeit the black and seal brown, they seem to be very closed into their ways. For anything, Houston needs to go with red and then dark royal blue making their main or default red instead of navy blue. That way the Texans and Titans will look different.
  18. I really wish there was a team that used purple and orange as their identity colors in the NFL. Probably will never happen.
