  1. Black accents on certain players actually make this look half decent. Given that Black is used in their logo & facemask, I’d actually be all for Black socks (and cleats/gloves/sleeves) here if worn team-wide: The players that wore a lot of White gear also helped break up all the Purple, so you could also go that route. The guys who looked the worst are the ones that wore Purple everything.
  2. I think if you asked the average fan if this was true, you’d get a far different answer. Players, too.
  3. I personally just like the White pants better and the Bears really need a spark. Next season, new coach, fresh road look. Bring this back:
  4. Either way, the Bears need to wear White pants on the road again. I knocked their unis a few pages back, but this, like it is for Kansas City, is an improvement.
  5. Is it too early to start the 2025 NFL Changes thread?
  6. Ravens looks fantastic in Black/Black/Purple/Black.
  7. Carolina has become bush league in every way, but how they’ve come to dress this season punctuates that statement. This uniform wasn’t designed to be a mix & match set and should not be treated as such. I’m saying it for the last time: Carolina ‘s traditional home & away combos are modern classics. Jumbling up this franchise’s on-field identity is a travesty.
  8. So, you don't want the Bears to change their uniforms because they've been wearing them for 60+ years, but you're fine with the Cowboys doing it. Got it. Differences between Bears' current & throwbacks are "minimal"? Dude...you're hitting the cranberry sauce too hard already today. Helmet is different. Striping is completely different. Number font is different. Pants are different. Socks are different. The entire Throwback uniform is different. Block numbers are superior to dinky rounded numbers font any day of the week. This was the case with the previous Lions uniform, and it's the same for the Bears. Many such cases.
  9. Also, the current Packers throwback makes me miss these:
  10. I know it’s been said a lot by me & others, but today is a great reminder that every team that has Throwbacks should have a home & away sets - the league should expand the rules to allow for this - and Thursday games, including Thanksgiving, should be exclusively designated Thursday Throwback games. This is what we should be watching today:
  11. Hey, that’s great…but they still suck. Also, are you one of the guys that wants the Cowboys to change their uniform…the same ones they’ve been wearing since ‘64? The Bears franchise is and has long been irrelevant. Their identity is one of the least visually appealing in pro sports. It’s traditional, but in a bad way…meaning it wasn’t really that good in the first place. They’d benefit from an update.
  12. These would look better with their current Throwback helmet: I just said it recently, but I think the Bears are ready for a refresh. They had the one good Lovie Smith season, but otherwise, the'yve not been relevant since '85. With Caleb, they finally have a chance and the timing is the best it's been. I don't think ownership will ever change, but if they did, a think a very vintage approach would be the right way to go. Give me a Home version of their current Throwback - Navy jersey, Orange (or Orange/White) stripes, White numbers, solid White pants, Navy/Orange striped socks - and it would scream tradition while still being fresh and unique. Has anyone ever mocked that up here?
  13. Rolling or trolling? Wait...did the Lions get rid of their Thanksgiving Throwbacks?????
  14. Bears throwbacks are 50x better than their normal unis. Wish they’d switch to these full-time.
