  1. i agree with you on this point. the "c" logo IS classic. this would be an aswome third for two reasons. 1) a better horse head logo 2) the third they have now is just there home and away with a different color and the logos switched. an all new desighn is needed.
  2. when i heard the plot i was suprised that they were not going to do anything with saddam. the ending was the best part. one of the best south parks in a while. and im not saying that because im canadian.
  3. the lace-up reserved for the rangers? most of the teams that use them have a right to do so. the leafs collar on the third is fine. the lace-ups on the ducks, wild, and avs thirds are fine because those jerseys whent with a classic look. im also fine with phoenix having a lace-up on one jersey because its unique. seeing as phoenix was the first team to do this, they should be the last. calgary needs to change their lace-up on their home. the bluejackets, islanders alt., and the thrasers alt. need to change. this dallas concept is fine with a lace-up because its a classic looking jersey. as for the chargers concep, i like the idea of combining baby blue and navy, but if this concept became reality then it would cheapen the throwbacks. if the chargers used this concept as their regular unis, then the once a year occasion that saw the baby blue throwbacks wouldnt be as special.
  4. I sure hope so. Using the large logo seems to be yet another poor choice when it comes to the new uniform IMO. -the decision to not go old school or retro in theme -the decision to go black -the awful choice for the road colours -the decision to omit blue for the most part -choosing the large logo over the smaller version Who's making all the decisions with this uniform? Cheers, Chris dont forget no maple leaf.
  5. i dont believe that a break in the us-canada alliance will ever happen. we have been allies since 1817, and i dout that aliance will ever end. i just think that part of canada gaining its own identity should be building a military that dosnt reley on the american militray. that would not mean destroying a solid alliance that has existed for over 200 years. also, despite our cultures moving in opposite directions, canadians and americans will always remain, as you put it "ironclade" alies, and i wouldnt have it any other way
  6. would be better if you only used on falcons logo.
  7. i hate both the all aqua and teh orange, however i would rather see the all aqua. the only teams that belong in oreange are the broncos and and the bengals. the bengals need an orange jersey, seein that the bengal is orange. as for the broncos, make the alts. the regular darks. the dolphins have no right wearing orange. at least on monday night they chose a color they belong in.
  8. considering how reeves tried to run elway out of denver, it shows that he is selfish and deserved what he got.
  9. unforturnally yes. if these days still existed every nation would be stronger because there is no unquestionalble superpower of the world. an example would of this would be canada. if the "feudal days of 'every nation for itself'" were still around, canada would have to build up the armed forces because we couldnt trust the us to protect us canadians. im saying this as a proud canadian with an uncle in the air force: canada dosnt build up its military because we reley on the americans for protection. we cant continue to do this. as our cultures move further apart we need a strong canadian militray to defend canada. im just glad that hitler admirer was finally caught. It certainly wouldn't be a bad idea for Canada to beef up its military for the sake of domestic security and for participation in any global security matters which it deems worthy of military assistance, however I don't see a day in our collective lifetimes when Canadians should ever have to worry about the United States not just coming, but rushing to the aid of Canada should they be the subject of any military threat. We can sneer at each other, disagree on fundamental political issues and poke fun at each others' cultures, but Canada and the United States will continue to be very strong allies despite these differences. im not saying that the us wont whant to aid canada, but canada's culture is moving away from that of the us. the reason for this is that canada dosnt whant to be seen as america's younger brother. canada will always be seen like that if we continue to reley on the us for protection. if someone attacked canada, that war would have to be between the agresser (who ever it may be) and the canadian militray with the help of the americans. not the americans fighting a war for canada.

  11. these throwbacks have nothing to do with "warriors." the ones they have now are much better.
  12. it just a fasion jersey. the devils and red wings did this a few years ago.
  13. oh dear God. may God be with the families of all the victoms.
  14. ur kidding me. the best fans in the states would new york and boston. both those cities have loyal fans who are proud of their respective city. philly fans are nothing but thugs. in your case the better fans are in jersey. now best fans in the world would have to be in toronto .
  15. 8 its a great jersey but something about it dosnt seem right. i love the logos and i dont care about the numbers. something just dosnt look right.
  16. a few diehard hockey fans in us and canada? try just the diehard fans in the us. im not attacking americans in any way, but in 1980 the us beat canada earlier in the tournament. why do i think that the us filmakers will try and make the american victory over canada more important then it is (in the beggining of the movie at least.) once again, not trying to attack americans, just those in hollywood .
  17. jays and expose in pr on canada day weekend is only the second thing the mlb has done that upsets me as a canadian. the first was canadian teams wearing the american flag. couldnt they use a patch like the raptors wore with both flags? those are my only two complaits about the mlb as it realates to canada. go jays! (cant call them blue jays anymore)
  18. the problem i have this jersey is that pays tribute to minnisota. if there was no team there now it would be fine. however with the arival of the wild, minnisota fans have gotten over the stars leaving. also, a dallas jersey paying tribute to minnisota cheapens the wild as a hockey club.
  19. im starting to get the picture. i geuss putting a logo on the browns helmet would be like dramatically changing either the maple leafs or canadians unis.
  20. as much as i enjoy watching the nfl (go bills!) i dont whant a nfl team in canada. one team would kill the cfl. the cfl is a canadian institution and need to be pretected. besides the cfis older then the nfl.
  21. i think the summit series was a bigger accomplishment then the 1980 usa victory. why? canada had to battle the top team in the world at the time (the ussr for those yankees who probabbly never heard of the summit series) for 8 games, and won. also who did canada beat to win the gold in men's hockey? usa who did canada beat to win the gold in women's hockey? usa enough said. ps-an air force one type movie with JC would be awsome. maby have the hijackers be from quebec.
  22. i love my country to death. my uncle is in the RCAF and my family has a long history of service in the military. the supperiority thing is not true. we just feel we need to be our people and countrty. after the friendly fire inccedent in afganastan canada asked the states for an apology. thats all we asked. you know what america's response was? off. basically the american government was saying "we killed your troops so get over it because we are the great usa" i realy hope we do send troops into quebec if they try to seperate again.
