  6. Up next we head to Brooklyn Brooklyn University Location: Brooklyn, New York Type: Private University Founded: 1901 Religious Affiliation: Roman Catholic Conference: Atlantic 8
  7. So great questions here. I'm just keeping the template the same because the whole thing is one massive project. As for cross-sport success, once I've finished hockey and baseball, I will do basketball and each school will have a summary of all sports and you can see all of their uniforms together. Up next are the UPU Falcons who are as dominant in hockey as they are in football... #2 UPU Falcons Upper Peninsula University Location: Iron Mountain, Michigan Type: Public University Founded: 1944 Conference: Mid Western Athletic Conference National Championships: 3 1990, 1996, 2014 National Championship Runners-Up: 2 1997, 2019 Frozen Four Appearances: 6 1990, 1996, 1997, 2006, 2014, 2019 Conference Championships: 5 1990, 1996, 2006, 2014, 2019

  9. It's hockey time! Now that my NCAA Football Super Series is complete, I'm working on the Hockey and Baseball teams as well. As it is in real life, some schools don't have a football program, so you will be meeting some new schools here! On this one, I will not be presenting them by conference, but by ranking 1-25, and "power rankings" from 26-67. The hockey conferences are a little bigger with a couple conferences you may remember from football expanding to include other schools, and some new ones. They are the Eastern Hockey Conference, Greater American Hockey Association, Mid Western Athletic Conference, New England Hockey Association, and the Western Hockey Conference. The NCAA Hockey Super Series has been around since 1988. So without further ado, we have the reigning National Champs... #1 Northern New York Bucks Northern New York University Location: Watertown, New York Type: Public University Founded: 1890 Conference: Eastern Hockey Conference National Championships: 3 1994, 1997, 2019 National Championship Runners-Up: 2 1995, 2003 Frozen Four Appearances: 8 1988, 1994, 1995, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2009, 2019 Conference Championships: 9 1988, 1994, 1995, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2009, 2015, 2019
  10. My NCAA Football Super Series got a ton of views responses and likes, so I decided to hop into baseball. Since I'm not well versed in baseball, I'm collaborating with @YankeeBaseball0934f who is an impressive designer in his own right. As it is in the real world, not all colleges are going to have a football program so you'll be seeing some new schools! Since we're still making these and because I'm also doing a hockey series, the pace will be a little slower, so stay tuned! For this project, all teams use standard jerseys (no pullovers or tanks), and they all have their pants up so the socks show. Home uniforms are white. Other than that, it's all up to the school! The league has been around since 1980. So without further ado, let's dive in with the Atlantic 8 conference. Baltimore State University Location: Baltimore, Maryland Type: Public University Founded: 1913 Design: @YankeeBaseball0934f Conference: Atlantic 8 National Championships: 1 2001 National Championship Runners-Up: 2 1988, 1999
  11. So we aren't supposed to post teaser images before doing any art, but there's a fair amount here... More NCAA Super Series coming soon to CCSLC
  12. Hmmmm.... that would be a neat idea... stay tuned in about 2 weeks.
  13. We conclude this project with one of the toughest teams in the nation, the Wisconsin State Warriors. The Warriors were an independent team up until the late 1990s when they joined the GLA despite the MWAC being a stronger conference. Because of this, a lot of midwestern football fans always complain about the Warriors being overrated and not playing anyone. Despite this, they are regular contenders for the National Title. Wisconsin State University Location: Wausau, Wisconsin Type: Public University Founded: 1925 Major Rivals: UPU, Wisconsin National Championships: 3 1991, 2000, 2013 National Championship Runner-Up: 2 1984, 1995 That's it! 104 schools, and I got through them all this time!
  14. Now we head to St. Louis for the Rivermen who get their striping from the state flag. The Rivermen have had some really solid teams over the years winning the GLA and before moving over, the Frontier conference, but they have never made it to a National Championship game. St. Louis State University Location: St. Louis, Missouri Type: Public University Founded: 1914 Major Rivals: Central Illinois, Illinois
  15. Next from Southern Ohio are the Pike. They get their branding and colors from the big mean fish that inhabit the area. The Pike have a major rivalry with Cincinnati State that often leads to fights and craziness on-field. It is considered one of the best rivalries in college sports. Southern Ohio University Location: Redoak, Ohio Type: Public University Founded: 1918 Major Rivals: Cincinnati State, Lexington
  16. Up next are the Saginaw State Firebirds. Originally known as the Indians, the University still went with a Native-inspired mascot which was far more acceptable. The Firebirds have a modern look using a fire "gradient" on their uniforms. Saginaw State University Location: Saginaw, Michigan Type: Public University Founded: 1930 Major Rivals: Detroit State, Eastern Michigan
  17. Up next are the Minnesota Tech North Stars who get their name from the motto on the state's flag and seal "l’étoile du nord". The North Stars have had a long-standing rivalry with the St. Paul Geminis of the MWAC. They have worn green and brown (like military fatigues) since World War II when the university regularly commissioned hundreds of officers through their ROTC program. Minnesota Technical University Location: Chaska, Minnesota Type: Public University Founded: 1919 Major Rivals: St. Paul, Minnesota
  18. The University was originally a private Pentecostal institution, and flames are a major part of their symbolism. This one's kind of an odd one, but there was a recent news story here in GR that a farmer had been using a meteorite worth about $100,000 as a doorstop for years. That and we have several large meteorites found here in the GR area.
  19. Up next we head down to Kentucky for the Lexington Flames. The Flames wear their black and red uniforms equally at home. They have had a long-standing rivalry with Ohio State which was far more competitive before Lexington joined the Super Series. Lexington University Location: Lexington, Kentucky Type: Private University Founded: 1881 Major Rivals: Southern Ohio, Ohio State
  20. Up next we head to Kalamazoo for the Kalamazoo State Kodiaks. The Kodiaks have had periods of great success including a national championship (has nothing to do with being the year I was born and the city I was born in....) but they have also had long droughts as well. They are currently a program on the rise. Kalamazoo State University Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan Type: Public University Founded: 1929 Major Rivals: Grand Rapids, Western Michigan National Championships: 1 1988
  21. Up next are the Indy State Lions. The Lions have a long history of excellent defense but in recent years haven't gotten much in the way of offense leading to their current streak of 9 losing seasons. It hasn't always been bad though with the Lions winning 3 GLA titles over the years. Indianapolis State University Location: Indianapolis, Indiana Type: Public University Founded: 1909 Major Rivals: Central Illinois, Notre Dame
  22. Up next is the University of Grand Rapids with their crimson and cream uniforms. The Comets have never worn white instead going for the off-white cololr since their first season. They have a fun rivalry with Kalamazoo State for the Barley Bowl celebrating the beer-making history in each city. University of Grand Rapids Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan Type: Public University Founded: 1925 Major Rivals: Kalamazoo State, Muskegon State
  23. Next we have the Erie Islanders. Originally a tiny college located on Presque Isle, Erie university relocated its' main campus into the city of Erie just 4 miles away, but kept the moniker of the Islanders. The Islanders have a fierce rivalry with the University of Cleveland in the MWAC. Erie University Location: Erie, Pennsylvania Type: Private University Founded: 1863 Major Rivals: Cleveland, Pitt
  24. Up next are the Cincinnati State Trojans. Running an exciting spread offense, the Trojans are a program on the rise. The university is a wide receiver factory churning out professional quality players year after year. Cincinnati State University Location: Cincinnati, Ohio Type: Public University Founded: 1926 Major Rivals: Southern Ohio, Cincinnati
  25. We finish the project now with the Great Lakes Alliance. Our first school is Central Illinois University, named the Commodores after Commodore Stephen Decatur, for whom the city of Decatur, Illinois is named. Central Illinois University Location: Decatur, Illinois Type: Public University Founded: 1935 Major Rivals: Indy State, St. Louis State
