  1. So in the past 24 years they have 4 Super Bowl appearances, 3 Super Bowl wins, 11 playoff appearances, 14 playoff wins. But if for some reason you remove the Super Bowl appearance years (because they don't count for some reason), they still have 2 playoff victories. Pretty sure your Bengals can't say that
  2. Almost any team not named the Patriots would take 3 Super Bowl wins since 1997.
  3. No. When teams get new ownership they can change.
  4. The teal crotch is the icing on the cake.
  5. That looks like a D3 college was trying to rip off the Jaguars logo, but had a first year design student do it.
  6. The black pants were debuted with the flake helmet. The helmet did not work with the away set.
  7. Because it's better to ask than assume? Maybe Wentz went in to the conversation assuming he was going to have to change his number, but figured he'd ask just in case Pittman was open to it. I feel like that is a pretty normal way to go about things. You assume you have to go with Plan B, but why not just confirm whether or not Plan A is possible first rather than assuming it isn't.
  8. Glad he said teal on teal would maybe only be a once a year thing. Not a fan of monochrome teal.
  9. They're 2 different colors. 1 is Aqua PMS 321 C, and the other is Teal PMS 3155 C.
  10. It's still a little mustard-ish, but they also have the benefit of pairing it next to a dark purple. It gives a much better contrast. Paired with teal it loses the contrast. Edit: adding in a photo of the Ravens "gold" pants as it shows how mustard the gold is.
  11. The problem is that the "gold" would be just a mustard color. We've already seen how Nike translates the Jaguars gold to jerseys.
  12. I absolutely loved the white jersey in the previous set. The issue for me was the black jersey with teal sleeves, the teal jersey with black numbers, and the pant stripe(?) thing. They just looked amateurish. The teal sleeves had the same effect as the Titans' current light blue pit stains: it's like they realized they forgot a key color and wanted to shoehorn it in. It also didn't fit the helmet. The "game uniform" point I don't agree with because other teams have just as basic jerseys (Raiders, Giants), but the Jags just haven't had them for decades yet. I've seen mockups that add a white stripe between the black and teal on the sleeve and it helps a lot. That, and adding stripes to the pants I think fixes this current set.
  13. The thing with the Jaguars original set, is that it seemed every year they tweaked it. The number font changed a few times, they had side panels (although I think this was very short lived, like a couples games? I can't remember exactly), the pants stripe changed on both the white and black pants, their away jersey number color changed from teal to black. It also benefited from shiny fabric, which made the gold a stronger compliment to the teal. I don't think their gold translates well to Nike jerseys currently (as we saw with their previous set, it either appeared mustard or yellow). I think this current set is a great base, they just need to do some minor tweaks to elevate it.
  14. Plus the teal over black has been used in their history.
  15. Teal over black is pretty dang awesome, too.
  16. I don’t think they will. Just bring back the originals as a throwback twice a year and we’re good. Maybe add stripes to the pants on the current set and more teal to the away jersey.
  17. They have them for at least 3 more years.
  18. Hopefully Meyer also hates monochrome. I'm actually a huge fan of this set, provided the jersey and pants never match. (not saying improvements can't be made or that the pants shouldn't have stripes)

  20. "Meet the new NFL Changes thread, same as the old NFL Changes thread."
