  1. BBTV brings a lot of quality conversations to these boards, but honestly he's made so many comments wishing harm on those that use retired numbers that I don't think he's joking all that much. And when pressured on it in the past has basically doubled down on it and never said anything like "obviously I'm joking, but I just don't like it". But 2 months seems a bit severe IMO.
  2. Considering the things he’s said in the past about players who wear numbers that have been retired I’m shocked a suspension hasn’t happened earlier.
  3. It's their current crest with the "St Louis City" wording and vertical bar removed. The arch and the SC are in their exact same locations. My guess is that it's a secondary logo for use in cases like this. Minnesota United does similar things with their logo and removes the lettering in certain uses (albeit it's a lesser change to the overall crest). Edit: Made this to show...
  4. The Rams helmet wasn't an alt helmet. It was the same helmet just with different decals like other teams did with recent throwbacks.
  5. Darnell Mooney currently. In the past Jeff George and Roy Williams have based (although I don't remember that specifically, had to google it lol).
  6. The OT seems like the penalty kick idea from soccer. Not sure I like it, but I definitely will be curious how it plays it in real life.
  7. Tell me this thread has served its purpose and time to lock it without telling me this thread has served its purpose and time to lock it.
  8. Yet another reason to hate Seattle.
  9. You don't think a Ravens team with a healthy Lamar can challenge for a wildcard?
  10. So happy Brady is coming back! Love seeing all the bitterness and whining.
  11. Sigh. If only I could watch my Loons. But they really screwed the pooch with their TV deal in going with a provider that isn't on any of the streaming services.
  12. I think it's more in the idea of "does an NFL player already wearing lots of equipment experience more heat in a lighter colored uniform or a darker colored uniform when it's 100 degrees outside" type of thing. Is there a measurable impact/advantage in wearing lighter colors in those instances. (not sure what the answer is)
  13. Yep I read what you wrote It's also why I said they wouldn't benefit from it. Eagles best secondary option is the Kelly green throwback. Houston Texans in all white with a white helmet also wouldn't be their best option.
  14. White helmets with all white uniforms is definitely not something any of those NFL teams would benefit from, and definitely not a bandwagon I want to see the NFL hopping on. It's something college teams do. It's one thing if that's already a part of a team's identity or history, because it's that team's individual brand. But to do it just for the sake of doing is just as annoying as teams doing BFBS. Team's should be sticking to their brand identities. Mostly in my view this means throwbacks, but I'm sure there could be an exception or two where a secondary helmet could fit in with that team's brand with an alt uniform.
  15. They were fading from a matte black to a metallic gold. Those 2 finishes don't really lend to smooth blending is my theory.
  16. Personally I hate the Giants look and the difference between home and away. That's not a good example to me, as I don't think their look works.
  17. At first I was like, "Why did you put the wording on the right side of the circle?" and then I saw the "C" it made and thought "oh that's nice!" Very clever and simple.
  18. For me the only thing the black is better than are the 2 white kits. This is the black version of the white kit. No personality to it and nothing about it says Minnesota United to me.
  19. Sigh, this Twitter thread makes me annoyed. So many people saying the black is the best MNUFC has ever looked. So many people being wrong. https://twitter.com/DummyRunPod/status/1495484627426885638
  20. Can I rank them all last place due to stupid names?
  21. If MNUFC would've gone with black when they made the jump to MLS I'd be okay with it to a degree. I'm just annoyed that they've done nothing to establish an on field look in the MLS after having a consistent iconic NASL look for years. Every new dark kit is just a new direction. I actually loved the sash and would've been fine had they stayed with that. Then they went to 13 vertical gray stripes cuz reasons. Then they finally brought the wing back. Now they decide they want to be black with pinstripes? Ugh. I'm not at all a bitter fan
  22. Sigh. Minnesota, you suck. At least I can save money on a jersey this year.
