And the newly crowned winner of the ugliest uniforms in the NBA are...the UTAH JAZZ! EDIT: They revealed the global/primary logo now on the NBA Store as well and, lord, what have they done to you...you poor poor note.

Well...so much for purple being back and them backtracking. Looks like that black and yellow garbage is going to be the new brand after all.

I like it a bit more than what they currently have, finally ditching the hideous blue/black combo for just black and adding the LeBron era gold, but c'mon! Can the Cavs EVER commit to a full rebrand for once? This is legit their 4th brand recoloring/refresh under this design.

It's absolutely wild how true this claim is. With the exception of a few, the 2k league logos are so much better than the teams' actual logos. Like, for example, this quick edit I made of the Knicks' 2kL logo would be so much cleaner for their logo than what they currently have:

Alas, here are the last four of the Pacific Division and the series: San Jose Sharks: For the Sharks, I decided to go way back and use a slightly altered version of the final California Golden Seals uniform with a Sharks-style update, including the front text. Seattle Kraken: Ironically the newest NHL team gets the oldest uniform base. I took the striped styling of the Seattle Metropolitans uniform worn through the 1910s, reworked the colors to match the Kraken, and made sure it fit the Adidas template and that legibility wouldn't be an issue by adding a nameplate to the back. Vancouver Canucks: There was a lot to possibly work with for the Canucks, but ultimately I went with a color flipped version of their early-mid 90s uniform, with yellow serving as the base and black going to the striping instead. Vegas Golden Knights: Similar to what Vegas did last year, I took inspiration from an old Las Vegas franchise, this time the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers. I used their red alternate uniform as the base, switched the colors, and refreshed the logos and crest to match the Golden Knights branding. I also updated the Las Vegas Sign stars to be in the style of the Golden Knights' secondary logo. Series complete! Hope these ideas seemed cool to all of you!

Alas, here are the first four of the Pacific Division: Anaheim Ducks: Knowing that anything the original duck mask logo is on will sell like hotcakes, I played it simple. I flipped the colors of the team's original eggplant jersey with teal and adapted the remaining elements of the jersey into the Adidas template. Calgary Flames: Taking inspiration from their early 2000s uniforms, I reworked the white version of the uniform slightly by applying the modern, black-less color scheme to the uniform template. Edmonton Oilers: Fulfilling a long wanted desire of Edmonton and NHL fans, I brought back the gear logo and late 90s-00s color scheme. I took the alternate used up until the Reebok switch and made some adjustments to the colors giving copper the spotlight rather than the original silver that wasn't even in the color scheme. Los Angeles Kings: Similar to what the LA Kings did last year (taking the original team colors and applying them to the Gretzky-era jersey), I simply did the opposite and took the original team jersey and applied the modern/Gretzky-era colors. Will close this series off soon enough with the Sharks, Kraken, Canucks, and Golden Knights, and things will get real weird to close it off.

Finally, to close out the Central Division: Minnesota Wild: With not all too much to work off of outside of pulling from the North Stars again, I elected to do a color swapped version of the team's first home uniform, with their red taking the base color now. Nashville Predators: Like Minnesota, not all too much to use as a basis for Nashville, so I took the design of their late-00s alternate uniform and swapped out black for their modern yellow color, while modifying the logos appropriately as well. St. Louis Blues: I didn't want to take, once again, from either their OG jerseys or their staff-inspired 90s jerseys, so I went to the 80s, where the team first introduced red to their color scheme. However, to spice things up, I took the team's modern navy and made it the primary color, while pushing their royal blue to where the red usually sits as an accent color. Winnipeg Jets: After the disaster that was the Jets RR last year, I kept it simpler, taking the original team's final uniform and swapping out the colors for their current scheme. I definitely like the idea of this one way more than the other one you did for the Jets. I always hated how the Jets rarely have truly embraced their team name except in subtle ways. However, like another user mentioned, the NY monogram is far too difficult to make out. I think there's definitely a way to simplify it while keeping the design.

For the first four of the Central Division: Arizona Coyotes: For the Yotes, I based their second Reverse Retro off of their alternate used from 2008-14. The only difference being the base color, which I switched to Green. I also added the team's purple as an accent/outline color. I also updated the shoulder patches to their moon logo to make the logos match. Chicago Blackhawks: The Blackhawks had a black alternate before, but it was based on their road uniform. This time, I took their 1981 red uniform design (logo outline included) and did a swap of the color scheme. Colorado Avalanche: Given the Avs' Nordiques-based RR in 2020 was arguably the most well-received, I didn't want to stray too far from that here. Simply put, I swapped the design to that of the home uniform featuring the Avs' blue and added in some burgundy trim to help the uniform pop a bit more. This, no doubt, would be a huge seller once again. Dallas Stars: The Stars' previous RR was so close, yet so far. This second edition of the RR is a course correction of sort. It takes the 1999 Cup-winning uniform, changes the colors to their current scheme, and flips the colors around with black becoming the primary and the team's green becoming the secondary color. Next up, the Wild, Preds, Blues, and Jets!

Hey all, sorry for the delay in further posts, but here is the remainder of the Eastern Conference! New York Rangers: Similar to what I did with Florida, due to the overwhelming popularity of the Lady Liberty jerseys amongst Ranger fans, I simply took inspiration from the team's white version of the jersey in 1998 and flipped their previous RR to white. Philadelphia Flyers: Given the Flyers don't have much of a jersey history to work with and they did their 80s-90s jerseys previously, I simply did a orange and black color swap of their original 1972 jerseys. https://imgur.com/UfeGB Pittsburgh Penguins: For the Pens, I threw it way back to the team's second jersey and the old roundel logo, modernized with their current logo and colors. I also made the uniform yellow to help it stand out from the rest of their set. Washington Capitals: The Caps' 90s inspired red RRs from last season were much beloved, so to keep that theme going, I took inspiration from their second black home uniforms in 2000. I switched the colors up to blue primary and recolored the logo. Central Division coming up next!

To kick off the Metro Division: Carolina Hurricanes: To keep it simple, the Canes jersey is simply a color swapped version of their cup-winning jersey first used in 2000, even down to the logo. Columbus Blue Jackets: Due to the Jackets' history, I had to get super creative. Instead of taking from the limited jerseys left from the Jackets, I took inspiration from a different Ohio team: the Cincinnati Stingers of the WHL, taking their jersey design and color scheme, while adding CBJ elements in, ironically, the Stinger logo, as well as their current font. New Jersey Devils: Similar to the Canes, I mostly did a color swap on this one and took their cup-winning design from used from the 1990s-mid 2010s. It gives the Devils arguably a better look than their current thirds. New York Islanders: I gave the Isles fans what they wanted: the fisherman design from 1996 (save for the logo). I brought back that lovely teal the Isles used and did minor modifications to the design with the removal of silver and retrofitting the jersey with the Isles' current colors. Next up will be the Rangers, Flyers, Pens, and Caps to close out the East!

Here's the remainder of the Atlantic Division: Montreal Canadiens: Couldn't get too adventurous with the Habs' traditional set. Thus, I just went with a slightly updated version of their 1944 white uniforms, which is pretty much a flip of their current home jerseys. Ottawa Senators: The Sens have the most modern reference uniform, as this is based off their 2011 alternate fauxback jersey, with the primary color switching to red and the sleeve/tail design being simplified a bit. Tampa Bay Lightning: Here's where I had some fun. Given the Bolts used their original jersey as basis last year, I took cues from their short-lived "Thunderstorm" blue alternate. I refreshed the logo and fonts to the current ones, while I simplified the color scheme of the lightning and waves and made the rain design a subtle pattern. Toronto Maple Leafs: The Leafs RR take cues from their 2000s jerseys, bringing back the TML logo, as well as two tail stripes and a light silver as a tertiary color, which is the primary jersey color here. Metro Division up next with the Canes, Jackets, Devils, and Isles first

Hi all, decided to take a shot at a so-called second edition of the Reverse Retro series the NHL did last season, changing the eras up and creating better designs. I'll go division-by-division, starting off with the Atlantic Division: Boston Bruins: To switch things up, I took and flipped the design of the Bruins' mid 90s-mid 00s design to yellow, in line with last year's reverse retro. Buffalo Sabres: I decided to flip-flop last year's design/inspiration, instead taking the modern design and throwing the Sabres' red and black scheme from the mid 90s-mid 00s into it, compared to last year where they took the old design and retrofitted it with the modern color scheme. Detroit Red Wings: Given Detroit had one of the most boring and loathed Reverse Retros last season, I went way back to something more unique, taking the Detroit Cougars design all the way back from the 1920s, even including the unique lack of sleeve numbers. Only edit I made was removing the design from the back to keep the number prominent and clean. Florida Panthers: The Panthers don't have much history to work off of, so I just sort-of reused their previous Reverse Retro design and flipped it to white, as well as using the team's modern panther rather than the original one. Next up will be the Canadiens, Sens, Bolts, and Leafs, but let me know what you think of these!
