  1. That's my only problem with it. It doesn't match any of the current logos. In all likelihood, they probably will just slightly modify the primary and replace some secondaries.
  2. This is one of my favorite team names of all time It's hard to find a good picture of their current jerseys but it uses the "Talk 'N Text" logo above P.S. Tropa means group of friends so the team is named after a bunch of guys texting basically. At some point the nickname was even "Phone Pals"
  3. You would love it in my country. Here are the Philippine Basketball Association teams: Alaska Aces (Milk) Meralco Bolts (Electricity) Barako Bull Energy (Energy Drink) Talk n' Text Tropang Texters (Cellphone Service Provider) Globalport Batang Pier (No Idea) Air 21 Express (Delivery) Rain or shine Elasto Painters (Paint) Barangay Ginebra San Miguel (Gin) San Mig Super Coffee Mixers (Coffee) San Miguel Beermen (Beer) And yes, all three 'San Mig' Teams are owned by the same company.

That's how Whitney's Miltank always took out my team... But in all seriousness, this is looking to be an awesome thread. I'm a HUGE Pokemon fan and can't wait to see the rest of the series. No complaints for the first two, just all around awesome concepts. I feel you. Quilava trainer I assume? No complains definitely.

I'm definitely following this. Lose the outline on the back though.
  6. You can't be serious. It could be more subtle ala Milwaukee.
  7. Wouldn't the most sensible option be to have a patch on the actual jerseys but not the merchandise?
  8. You would be relieved to see a small ad patch when you see the teams in my country. They are actually owned and named after companies which make for hideous logos and jerseys. I guess it's just a matter of perspective.
  9. Well to be fair I don't think Nike or ua have released anything as bad as some of the Adidas stuff. Adidas gets slammed for trying to put their 3 stripes everywhere but Nike gets a pass for using the same template for every national basketball team jersey? Yeah, but national team basketball isn't really relevant at all. It's not even close to what national teams are in soccer. This is a basketball thread. It's the most important sport here. I know. I meant that the NBA and even college basketball are more relevant than the national team tournaments. So why should Nike even put much effort into the jerseys for them? I barely read anything like that when adidas releases Christmas day jerseys. I'm not saying adidas is perfect but grass is greener on the other side.

  12. I'm not sure if being a small market matters but most teams don't rebrand when they're on top of their game. I agree though. Worst logo in the league.
  13. You can't really blame teams for not rebranding. It takes a lot of effort and money. However, the recent rebrands have been pretty good so that's a step in the right direction. Brooklyn - boring but not really bad Phoenix - they're middle of the pack at least New York (?) - Minor changes but slightly better Charlotte - They're the Hornets again. Nuff said New Orleans - You can't really say that it's bad compared to some other logos. There hasn't been a horribly bad rebrand in a while so it's something.
  14. You didn't? Pretty sure he still is today, too. I take it you're talking about the single shades for black and white skin colors...but still, that came off kind of dumb. He isn't black. He's a black/white mix. His father is African-American and is mother was a white Dutch model. Don't forget he's French
  15. Does this count lol, he looks more ridiculous than the players wearing this He wants those tweets!
