  1. Out of all of them, here are my choices for the good and the bad. Good: Arizona Colorado Delaware Michigan Minnesota Mississippi Oregon Rhode Island South Carolina Utah Wyoming Bad: Arkansas Connecticut Idaho Indiana Maine Massachusetts North Carolina Nebraska Ohio Oklahoma Texas

  3. I'm going to have to disagree on this one. The Sharks-Hurricanes matchup is pretty sweet. It screams the 90s to me, which is awesome.
  4. Lees-McRae College logo update:
  5. I don't hate it, but I don't absolutely love it, either. It is an upgrade over that atrocious 90s-inspired board game rip off logo.
  6. If you are ever in the mood to do a little research on what colors often mean or what energies they get off, it can lead to some pretty cool theories on why they were even chosen. For instance, Kamala using the color purple as a main campaign color might symbolize power and wisdom, or it might represent a true pulling away from the old red, white, and blue schemes of every other campaign to show that she is unique in her approach. The same could be said for Kirsten. Here's a little more on Kamala's colors from BourneCreative.com's "Color Meaning Blog Series:"
  7. Are those the Great Pyramids of Egypt? Because those definitely aren't mountains.
  8. My rankings (so far): Tulsi - The sun setting/sun rising color scheme really works for a candidate from Hawaii. Great font choice, too. John Delaney - Standard red, white, and blue, so nothing new there, but it is a cool logo. Julian - The box surrounding the name says 'Trump' to me, so I'm not sure it's entirely original. Ojeda - Feels like a grunge logo you'd find on a shirt at the mall in the mid 2000s.
  9. It's a very cool and modern logo, but I guess I'm confused as to what it is...? I obviously see the basketball, but I don't recognize anything else. Additionally, the colors remind me of something I would see out of Arizona or New Mexico, not Georgia. Interesting stab at this one.
  10. The App State Mountaineers have seen a number of 'Yosef' iterations leading up to today.
  11. After the bout of bad press over the past year, Papa John's is removing the apostrophe and will now be known as... Papa Johns. They have released their new logo, which will go live in early 2019, as it is still pending trademark rights. As with all other logos lately, we are dropping all serifs to go for a new sans serif and minimalistic look. All imagery of Papa John himself has already been removed from the company, as well. We all knew a new logo had to be in the works. Thoughts? New: Old:
  12. I would also say that it feels very stagnant, so maybe figure out a way to get creative with showing motion and also filling some of that empty space?
  13. I'm still not feeling this avalanche/snow cascade. I guess I just don't really get why it looks so sharp and choppy? I'm not sure what to do to make it better at this point, as there is something I can't quite put my finger on that just reminds me of barbed wire or something.
  14. Update: others have spotted the new logo/old name in other places, according to Twitter. No official word on an update or rebrand, though.
  15. So, we all know that Sierra Mist recently went through a rebrand and name change within the past year or so, moving from Sierra Mist to Mist Twst. To cause even more confusion, I was at a Sheetz just recently and they have changed the branding for Mist Twst yet again on their soda dispensers. The soda dispensers said Mist Twst just a month ago, but now say Sierra Mist. I'm sensing a serious identity crisis going on with this soda. Is anybody else seeing these changes in their area or is this an isolated incident? 2001-2006 2006-2008 2008-2010 2010-2011 2011-2013 2013-2016 2016-2018 (?) 2018(?) -
  16. I know it's an old logo, but Wendy's used to be the same way, with the 'n' and 'y' in lower case and everything else in upper case.
  17. From what I have been told, the neck is supposed to be in the shape of North Carolina while the head is supposed to be in the shape of South Carolina. If you could isolate those two shapes, they'd be a fairly similar shape of each state.
  18. I like the general direction, but it looks like it is having an allergic reaction to something that has swollen its face up.
  19. If the Panthers were to start utilizing a new secondary logo, I'd be in favor of them pulling out the "One Carolina" logo that they used for their Super Bowl run a few years ago. it was sleek, modern, and representative of both states. Very cool.
  20. So, while I appreciate anybody's hard work, I am also one for honesty and constructive criticism. I think you've got a few decent uniforms here, but there are many more not so great ones. Try not to complicate looks too much. I highlighted those uniforms that I thought needed you really need to revisit, as they were terrifying, at best. Take note of those ones that you did well and try to reflect those looks a bit more in your entire series. Additionally, for future reference, what I would recommend doing is posting a conference of uniforms first, getting feedback, and then moving forward. Posting 130 uniforms at once is overwhelming and excessive on both the reader and the and on you! The okay: Akron Alabama Arkansas West Point Ball State Boston College ECU Georgia Indiana Northwestern Stanford UMass UTEP Virginia The bad: Air Force Auburn Baylor Bowling Green BYU Buffalo Cincinnati K-State UConn Duke Eastern Michigan Florida Iowa State Iowa Marshall Memphis Miami (OH) Notre Dame South Carolina Southern Mississippi Syracuse Texas UCLA VT The ugly: App State Arizona State Arizona Arkansas State Boise State California UCF Central Michigan Fresno State Clemson Coastal Carolina Colorado State Colorado FAU Charlotte FIU FSU Georgia Southern Georgia State Georgia Tech Hawaii Houston Illinois Kansas Kent State Kentucky Liberty Louisiana Tech Louisville LSU Maryland Miami (FL) Michigan State Michigan MTSU Minnesota Mississippi State Missouri Navy Nevada NMSU New Mexico NC State UNC North Texas NIU Ohio State Ohio Oklahoma State Oklahoma ODU Ole Miss Oregon State Oregon Penn State Pitt Purdue Rice Rutgers SDSU SJSU SMU South Alabama USF TCU Temple Tennessee Texas A&M Texas State Texas Tech Toledo Troy Tulane Tulsa UAB ULL ULM UNLV USC Utah State Utah UTSA Vanderbilt Wake Forest Washington State Washington WVU WKU WMU Wisconsin Wyoming
  21. I've always been interested by local TV station logos and whether or not they choose to represent any given area through their imagery or not. Post your local TV station logos here. For Wilmington, NC: ABC and CBS affiliate: New logo as of this year Old logo NBC affiliate: Fox affiliate:
