I really, really hate that font Houston is using for their numbers.

It does in Utah, they'll fit right in with the Jazz

Its a balancing act. You want to tie the name into the region, but don't want it to be so hyper-specific it only appeals to locals. At the same time, you also don't want to go the generic route where it feels like an EA Create-A-Team that could exist anywhere. As much as I don't want to see "Salt Lake City Salted Lakers", I also don't want to see "Wildcats" or "Bulldogs" or whatever other high school nickname either.

One thing about the Broncos the jerseys, I think the "mountain" design on the sleeve cap is going to have a similar effect as the Seahawks "feather", where its going to look like one thing on the players wearing them over shoulder pads, but extra stupid on the jerseys fans buy with the extended sleeves.

Can't wait for the inevitable "Mess with the bull and you get the horns" marketing jargon.

I still prefer navy for the Broncos. The bright blue is good for throwbacks, but I think a team with a main colour as a bright orange doesn't need it up against a very bright shade of blue. The navy and white balance it perfectly.

I'm not opposed to the idea of a mountain design on the sleeves. I've seen some incredible concepts with them. The ones they went with are more reminiscent to me of sand dunes than they are of rocky mountains.

The basketball team is called the Jazz. We don’t need to concern ourselves with how many Gulls or Yeti or whatever else currently exist in Utah for a name to be selected.

I could have sworn 1977 happened between 1968 and 1996.

I'm not saying they look like the Chargers, I'm saying this jersey looks like a concept for the Chargers you'd see here.

Remove the '5280's from the helmet, pants and collars Replace the tail light helmet stripe with a single orange one. Fix the shoulder stripe so it extends all the way across and looks like an actual mountain instead of a lightning bolt Remove the "speed holes", this isn't a car. Extend all of the pants stripes from waist to ceiling. I think this would make them decent. Right now they look like a Chargers concept that swapped yellow swapped out for orange.

Reminds me of the Seahawks uniforms, where the core concept of the uniform isn’t terrible, but it’s brought down by a bunch of obnoxious, extraneous details. I will say I really like the blue helmet over white jersey over orange pants combo and hope that becomes the default.

Well, if they’re “fire” they can’t also be “icy” or “cold”, right? That’s how it works?

Looks like a Habs jersey you'd see on one of those "What if the NHL played football" concepts.

Reminds me of the terrible Seahawks tire track, which is still on their helmet today. If that is the Broncos new helmet, as much as the stripe sucks, at least it isn’t white.
